I heard about it on reddit and the mcap is really low compared to comparable cryptos. Is it a good buy?

Natrium is a wallet. (http://natrium.io)

You can get free nano from a faucet. Alternatively, post your Natrium wallet address here and I will send you some for free to play with. Send whatever you receive back and forth between two wallets and you will get the picture of what Nano is capable of. Alternatively, watch this video instead.

It does one job well at its current scale but there is lots of evidence to suggest it may not scale well. Personally I think it is too basic I don't see a use for it, at first I thought it was amazing in 2017/2018 but honestly I don't see it as a lasting project. There are other crypto currencies which offer so much more that are nearly as fast. Nano is not special imo but lots of people think otherwise so see what other people say and make your own opinion.

This thread also has some very interesting news that puts Nano in an extremely bullish position, both for the immediate and long term.

>Today, Wirex announced our partnership with Mastercard, as we become the first cryptocurrency-native platform to secure Mastercard principal membership. The news further solidifies our vision to bring cryptocurrency to the mainstream with the support of Mastercard, the renowned global payment technology company, by giving Wirex additional functionality and control.

Hold on to this bastard. If you get entry criteria.

Rejection zone or areas to take some off the table(if you are worried) are : 7.85 (move stop to B/E around here
And then the next real area of concern is 12.5
Could takes weeks. But it is in a break out box. If it fails the near term low GTFO hence 5 $

Binance is one of the largest holders of Nano, and as their share of the total supply drops, so does any significant sell pressure that would come from them.

Bitcoin mempool is full and rising. Even weekends havent cleared it for over a month. Fees will keep rising every week. This will result in a narrative for alternative 'currencycoins'.
NANO is one of them. NANO has no inflation. NANO exchange volume is very low meaning low liquidity. A narrative shift to NANO would result in a runaway pump.
Mastercard rumor is also exciting to say the least.

Yeah that intuitively makes sense but I remember that in college I took an intro macroeconomics course and the prof said no inflation is bad because it makes people spend less money or something and that 2% inflation rate is a good thing.

right. who gives a fuck what happened in 2017 with this shit. look at btc. no one even knows if this guys gonna dump on everyone. plus you wanna talk about piece of shit cryptos? btc is the dogshit worst. When normie tards start actually needing to use crypto who the fuck do you think they will end up using for small transactions? Name a bigger community that has an actual working crypto as fast and feeless as Nano.

people do tend to save money when it increases in value, but I fail to see how that is an objectively bad thing. It seems like a good thing to me as my money ends up working for me, rather than the other way around.

Other anon that replied has valid point as well. Anon, I can't stress it enough that you're just throwing money out the window if you're going to just sink your 1400 stimmies into a random low mcap coin and forget about it for 10 years. Very few coins will ever 100x, and that's among countless thousands, and the majority that can, already have. The reason for most of the large gains of coins in the past is because the crypto market wasn't so heavily saturated and also wasn't so heavily manipulated by leveraged whales in the past, like it is now. The days of 2017 where you could throw a dart at the board and get decent or even large gains regardless of what you invested in, are long gone. And most of those people didn't even come out ahead because they tried holding on and were burned hard by the rug pull when they eventually cut their losses and pulled out what was left. My STRONG suggestion is that you either keep those stimmies and play around with a fake money trading account for now while you try and learn it all, or if you must throw it into something, perhaps throw it into physical silver for now. And I recommend physical silver purchases (see the Precious Metals General - PMG thread for more info and education) because when you hold some you will be more motivated and tempted to follow what is happening in it, and right now Silver can provide you with a very big curve jumping education into the fundamentals of how investment works, how commodities work, and how closely connected even the USD and it's monetary policy are to the Stock Markets and Cryptocurrency. Silver is a historical currency, and still is, and is also a huge store of value so you don't have to worry about it plummeting overnight and losing half of it. Again, that's my recommendation only if you must put stimmies into something because you are so new to it all and we don't want you getting burned. Again, I recommend you go with my first suggestion, the Strong recommendation.

the no fee part is the incentive. for any business accepting nano as payment can run a node. probably cheaper then getting fucked by what visa charges them for credit card transaction fees.

What's stopping crypto from becoming the future though? I fell like silver and gold are boomer memes supported by out of touch oldfags like Peter Schiff.

Peter Schiff isn't an out of touch oldfag, he's in touch, but only with his own positions and you shouldn't listen to a single mainstream "expert" on most of anything related to what you should invest in, Peter Schiff or otherwise.
Everyone has a dog in the game and will only shout things that benefit their dog, and will spin it as much as possible. There's nothing stopping crypto from becoming the future. And also everything. It's all deeply connected to which direction monetary policy is going, social political movements, mass psychology plays a huge role as well. For example with Bitcoin, Elon Musk comes out and essentially calls it zoomer boomer-tier bs money. A couple months later he comes out and hails it. What happened in between? GME hedgies get caught with their pants down with over and naked shorting a stock, the same hedge fund in fact that previously tried to short his company into financial ruin. He calls Bitcoin bs. Next month he calls for GME investing knowing full well it wouldn't moon up to a point where the majority of people who meme fomo'd in would benefit, but it would hurt the hedge fund that was a threat previously to his company and possibly again in the future. Then the attention shifts to Silver and he immediately comes out hailing bitcoin. Why? To divert attention and retail investment from silver and toward a popular cryptocurrency. Why would he do this? Because physical silver is needed for his car and space companies, and a GME-tier situation happening with silver would have financially ruined him if the physical metal price of silver, silver which he and all the rest of tech industry needs, started slingshotting upwards. The point I'm making is that Peter Schiff, newer popular ones like billionaire musk with his cultlike following, others, they all are in it for themselves, and what's currently happening wit silver really highlights that and exposes many of the bad fundamentals being used behind pricing of boomer silver.

Gotta go do stuff but to final touch on it, stay away from all investments for now. If you have to get into something, buy an ounce or two of silver if that incentives you to follow it more, don't yeet your entire stimulus check into it. Talk often to anons into SMG And PMG threads, and even crypto generals, about fundamentals and how stuff works. Do your own research and form YOUR OWN opinion. You will get stuff wrong. But to insulate yourself from bad advice or investments, as soon as people start trying to sell you on what you should invest into when you put actual skin in the game, it's a good rule of thumb that you're being shilled to by some guy with holdings in said shilled asset, or a troll, or even a shitcoin scammer, which is why I recommend you stay away from it all for now. Start with learning about precious metals (Gold and silver), the largest cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum), and the largest commodities like oil and what not. Learn their fundamentals! I have my own misgivings about BTC personally right now, but you absolutely should and must learn about it as well if you ever consider getting into crypto because it was the original one, and is still considered the central crypto store of value, same with gold and silver. Anyway you seem to have a healthy skepticism about stuff anon. So just keep researching and talking to anons in pms and smg threads and crypto generals. I'm sure you'll be fine.
