It's a fun idea, and no harm getting some cheap circulated copper coins just to have, but yeah realistically investing in physical copper is more difficult and not practical for most people.

Just buy base metal miners like BHP and RIO that do copper, also maybe consider the COPX ETF.

The Bunker Hill Mine is one of the largest and greatest past producing silver lead zinc mines in north america. The company is mulling a quick restart using existing mine data and modern drilling. It is also one of north americas largest contaminated sites with ARD and smelter ash contaminating the region. The company and federal government are working together to deal with this though. Its a solid bet on the ore body, but we have yet to see if Bunker hill the company can pull this off.

What also sucks are the current curfews we have from 8PM to 5AM. I was parked on the side of the street in front of my house and then a cop came and ask me questions like if I live here and what I am doing. All I was doing is sitting in my car after my shift beside my house looking on my phone to see if I can leave my car parked on the side of the street overnight or call my roommate to repark his car if I cannot park on the street. the cop left me alone but I did have some papers that are mandatory for people who works after 8PM if the cop needed to see papers.
