Do your own research on the company. It's a risky play but IMO the pieces are all coming together -

Ore sorter online
Streaming deal to ship 300 tons of ore concentrate at somewhere between 200-400oz/ton of silver. If we average that to about 300oz/ton, it's about 2.4M in revenue, minus whatever cut the streaming company has.
At even 150TPD of ore and 15TPD of concentrate that gives us 20-30 days to accumulate that amount. Let's say it's 60 days to take into account any delays, they should be seeing the first bit of revenue by Q2 this year.

Only issue is they have had plenty of share issuance recently via private placements to raise money for further drilling.

Still, it seems like they're pretty much a sure bet at this point, the only question is - can they deliver the production targets they promised, and do they have more ore in that mine than is inferred at 6M? At 600k oz/year initial target, the mine life would be 10 years at best not counting production increases.

I have 50k shares and working my way to at least 50k more.

This is the Bayhorse question yes. Mike life can also be more than 10y if production drags its legs. I imagine the current drilling program is for resource definition (not increase) from Inferred to Indicated so that the company can keep production steady and target more economical higher grade areas

Actually isn't the area they're mining now the most economic/rich they have found, and they're looking further down for more veins but found smaller concentrations of silver?

I read most of the reports half-asleep last night and can't recall exactly but their grades seemed to be pretty high as they are.

Still, their other project, which should be a surface mine IIRC, could come online while Bayhorse is producing and bringing in cashflow. That would be nice.

GME is a company on its way to bankruptcy. The shorts weren't wrong, they were just greedy and lazy and the short trade got WAY too crowded and was ripe for squeezing. GME is still shit long term.

Silver and gold are real money. Yes, the paper price is heavily manipulated right now, be we are getting close to the end of their ability to do that as the world continues the trend of dedollarization. No matter what happens, it won't go to zero and having the physica metal on you means there's no counterparty risk. Think of it as long term savings and crisis insurance. There will come a time when you are glad you stuffed as much fiat into silver and gold as you could while they were artificially suppressed in price. You'll make some money on the slingshot to true valuation and then preserve it as his is hard money.

This is not a quick thing like GME was. When the SHTF on the metals game, the finance world will change forever. It's not about quick gains. You are punching your ticket into the next system right now.

I've been thinking about counterfeit coins lately. Most are obvious fakes and either fail the magnet test or have the wrong specific gravity, but in theory a silver-plated 80-20 lead-zinc alloy passes both of those tests.

So naturally I want to play around with other at-home (nondestructive) tests. But to do that I need a high-quality fake, and all that I can find on AliExpress appear to be silver plated brass.

Anybody know of a place that actually sells "good" fake silver coins/rounds/bars, or is that quality of fake purely hypothetical?

While commodities are not shitcoins or memestocks, short squeeze mechanics can and do still apply. The bullion banks being backstopped by the fed means they obviously have infinity money with which to eat leasing fee losses, but being naked short on a commodity that can't be printed means delivery demands from industrials will still drive the price up if they catch a whiff of a supply crunch.

Nothing is ever guaranteed, but growth for silver similar to palladium is a reasonable possibility.

the nutshell is: this guy called the GME pump to the day, now he's calling for silver to kick off on Feb. 24th. He bases it off of a mix of stuff like USD depreciation accelerating, retail and big money sentiment seeking to gtfo of cash and into metals and cryptos, and also some bullshit astrology stuff thrown in.
BUT - Feb. 25th was when the downturn started bigly last year, so he might be onto something.

To be more clear, I have my suspicions that a lead alloy which matches the density of silver would *not* fail the ping test, because AFAIK the acoustic properties of a metal primarily come from its density, so an alloy whose density matches silver could well sound exactly like silver.

That's why a silver-plated brass fake doesn't work for what I want to do.

Also I want to play around with electrical impedance measurements, since I'm an electrical engineer and I have a suspicion that some sort of RF sweep could be easier to do at home than x-ray fluorescence, and also in theory should do a better job at measuring the "interior" beyond a couple millimeters.

Silver production totalled approximately 16,800 tonnes of ore grading 2,195 g/t Ag (70.24 Oz/t Ag) generating 1,170,000 ounces, including some very large specimens of native silver; Direct underground drilling on the target zones will prove more effective than surface drilling of this target, given there are already workings to provide access, to facilitate defining the remaining resource and the potential untested new mineralization; An initial trenching program to commence as soon as possible with the aim of identifying at surface native silver and new silver targets. The Nueva Andromeda permit lies contiguous to San Celso to the south east containing the extension of the mineralised Nueva Andromeda vein that has already been identified in the San Celso permit. Indications of historic mining all along this vein exist and so the coming field mapping and sampling is planned to better understand the potential of this extensio

A short position is a bet that whatever you're shorting will be worth less in the future than it is now. Financing asset purchases is a way of getting something worth 10-100k USD now, in exchange for a promise that you'll pay them back over time.

If the US dollar hyperinflates this year or next, then I can pay off the loan in full for a pile of now-nearly-worthless cash. If it doesn't, then I still made a worthwhile purchase (in my case a minivan which can be used for hauling furniture, moving sheets of plywood, or moving a bunch of people, etc).

Since most people can get a loan for a car or house, financing those is the most normie-accessible way of shorting the US dollar.

Ah, I understand -- yeah, that'd be a good thing to investigate. If you found out that certain types of silver-fakes could actually pass a ping test, that would be good content for a Youtube video or something.
To actually get your hands on "high-quality fakes", you might want to talk with your LCS owner about that; see if he has any fakes that he's come across, or to keep you in mind if he runs across any. Maybe make a deal to buy or borrow them (maybe he'd want to make sure the coins get marked as fakes before giving them, just so they aren't in circulation?).

I had suspected my other local bullion dealers would "update my pricing" as they have done in the past during high volume times and thought they would back out of the order entirely but I managed to snag some great pieces. I wasn't sure if anybody was going to deliver.

In a SHTF scenario I think pretty much anything will have a higher value than copper (except of course precious metals). Guns, ammo, food and medicine especially. I imagine copper wouldn't be that valuable since you could just tear down an entire house for wiring and water lines (bought quite a few foreclosures where druggies had done just that).

In a normal situation the amount of copper to hold onto compared to the upside per unit is small, so as an investment it's a poor idea. Copper miners however are good shit. I was reading an article that said copper mines have a life of nearly 50-70 years.
