GRT Thread

I went all in on a pool I found through the reward estimation website. (https://the-graph-rewards.com/))

Afterwards, I realized that the indexer set the pool to be 90% rewards to the indexer.

The first two days it showed no GRT rewards, I finally got an update on their website today.

165.82 GRT for my delegation. It says it's unrealized. My question to you guys, is this my personal delegation reward, or is it the pools?

Yep and now that the delegation fee is 90% you will get next to nothing for the rest of eternity. Up to you whether that was worth it.

>> No.28762161

Congrats, though keep in mind you're delegated to an indexer with a low amount of GRT delegated to it so the APY is higher than usual. If/when more people delegate to that indexer your APY will decrease. It's also possible (and likely) that your indexer hadn't allocated the rewards for a week or 3 so when you joined you got rewards for every single day they hadn't allocated. So if you joined 3 days ago but the indexer hasn't allocated the rewards of say say the previous 10 EPOCHs you'll actually be getting paid for those 10 EPOCHs even though you weren't delegated to the indexer at the time.

>> No.28762228

Also some friendly advice. Go to https://thegraph.stake-machine.com and enter your eth address on the delegator page and you'll see your hourly GRR rate as well as APY.

Okay good to know, I'll keep an eye out to see if these rewards continue.

Pic attached is the info I got from the site you provided.

>>28762149
So when I cash out 90% of those tokens go to the indexer?

I don't understand

No. Those are all yours. If you undelegate you'll get all of that unrealized rewards. Right now your unrealized rewards are added to your stack and are delegated, once you undelegate they are considered realized rewards.

Okay that's what I thought.
I don't know why everyone's giving me a hard time. I legit made over $300 in GRT in a few days from picking this indexer.

Unless I'm missing something and when I withdraw I lose 90%. I believe your dubs anon.

Bro it's easy, I bet you can find one just as good for yourself here: https://the-graph-rewards.com/

Just go to the website, copy and paste indexer addresses until you hit one with insane rewards.

I still feel like I'm missing something and I'm going to get jewed when I pull out. This is too good to be true. I will legit buy 10K more of this shit if this is the type of returns I'll be seeing.

Look at the pic in my OP.
I think it's a glitch or some backed-up rewards.

There's no way I made $300 GRT from delegating for 3/4 days.

This is hilarious and literally the reason GRT is about to plummet. You think that is sustainable?

Do people want to pay 10$ per google search? Think about it.

Well it is, do you really think people will pay this kind of money for an indexer?

You might say they wouldn't. Cause they wouldn't. Its not worth it. You'd centralise before you did that, it doesnt make sense. Its like paying 10$ for each of your rapid fire porn hub searches.

"It will go down with more delegators"
Yeah and so will the price as people keep earning ridiculous amounts in the pajeet and dumpeet if the year hahahaha.

Everyone who knows what delegation is got in <$1. We don't care about day to day volatility. We're just blissfully earning interest you can't get from the bank, and only rarely get from dividend etfs, and laughing at your first generation pricing fud.
