The better question is how to reduce the taxes as much as possible. Hypothetically if you hit it big and want to cash out, are you really gonna be okay with Shlomo taking a 40% cut? Fuck that.

Buying crypto miners inside a tax-sheltered account like an IRA for mutts and TFSA for leafs.

Not only are the gains 100% tax free, but the miner's have more appreciation than each Bitcoin price rise, so you are gaining leverage too.

if it goes to your bank it's still taxable, pretty sure.
I've been trying to find a way around this for a while.
I've stayed on the ERC-20 chain and used -coinbase->wallet1->wallet2->wallet3->uniswap because I know trading was a "taxable event" (which is fucking kike shit by the way)
I'll find out once I start using the gains or moving them back into my bank account, but I'd like to assume the risk is lowered...

You’re not missing anything. Countries love taking taxes from people. They will increasingly automate this, and get their cap gains tax, especially if you use exchanges that KYC. You either need to move to a more tax-friendly country or you need to avoid tax in illegal ways like buying and selling for cash
