I swear my Dad is trying to sabotage me.

It's extremely aggravating, he keeps probing everyday about how much i've earnt and pushing me to follow his retarded advice, he simply refuses to accept that i might know what im talking about

Is he trying to take ownership of my success somhow for his ego? Does anyone else have anything liek this happen?

That's probably good advice.
I've begun shutting down any sort of conversations now related to my finances, all its doing is making me aggravated and suspicious of his intentions. It is a shame if he feels eclipsed if that is the case, I would rather him be proud of me instead.

It may be something that comes with time, sometimes it can be tough watching your kid become more independent and not necessarily need your help or advice anymore. It could be that he just wants to help or be a part of it as a result. At least that's been my experience with fatherhood, but I'm an anonymous stranger on an imageboard talking about magic internet money
