Have to post this here because you guys get mad when I don't. This is the next x100. Get in ASAP.

>> No.28651221

>So for n00bs to crypto, do not flock to coins that look cheap. Do math and learn market cap & circulating supply.

>VET - price $0.05, 64 of 84 billion tokens circulating, $3.3 billion market cap

>vs.

>Random Altcoin - price $0.05, 9 of 10 million tokens circulating, $500k market cap

>For VET to move up towards 1 USD, its price has to fill the circulating supply (64 billion dollars / 64 billion tokens). The max supply will further lower the price if the market cap stagnates or decreases. The calculation would then look like (64 billion dollars / 84 billion tokens) making the price $0.76.

>For Random Altcoin to hit 1 USD, its market cap only has to hit 9 million dollars (9 million dollars / 9 million tokens). To calculate the worst case price scenario with the same market cap, one would simply divide by the max supply (9 million dollars / 10 million tokens) making the price $0.90.

>Now is it clear why there are so many other things to make money off of? Don't get dumped on by VEN / VET bagholders. You'll end up missing the bull run.

Get the fuck out of her with that 100x buill shit.

Yea, if you got in under a cent, you are in good shape. Maybe a cent or two. Otherwise, new blood should look else where. The buy in is too high for the amount of tokens you will get. Then consider how much money is required to ride the market cap upwards towards the current circulating supply of 64 billion. This is simply a warning for the uninformed not to get lured in.

I'm a math guy. Let's say a new fag did drop 5400 (a number most won't even anyway, but a decent chunk) and got 100,000 tokens. In the year or two that VET takes to reach 10 cents, wow you doubled your money to 10,800 congrats.

Imagine you bought 186 Polkadot instead (5400/28.97 at current prices), Dot will be triple digits end of year if not much before that.

188 DOT x say 100 bucks = 18,600

VET naturally attacts n00bs. I'm sorry, but it's the truth. The buy in is too HIGH and the return TOO LOW.

But right now the only project burning significant vthor is 3 wallmart stores in China. If you dive deeper into it, all these partnerships dont look so good. Offcourse they might have some real big use cases in the future, but judging on how little they have accomplished the past years, whilst constantly bragging about their partnerships, idk man. Meanwhile other blockchains have been making progress too adressing the supply chain. I used to think this was a 100x too, but now I am not so sure anymore. BTW check out the price of xDAI stake, you might be surprised about it and Uniswap. Yes, Vitalik mentioned roll ups, yada yada yada. xDAI stake is the truth, ETH is still viable.

In fact, ETH made a partnership with your home, Reddit you fuckin bitch.

>> No.28663258

VET is the most no-brainer long term investment in the crypto space. Anyone who's worked or studied supply chain understands how important it is to track the supply line.

Vechain's early focus was on designer goods and fine wine (CEO Sunny Lu was the former CIO of Louis Vuitton China and left his position to develop the platform). The value of high priced goods lies in the legitimacy of the product, and a blockchain trail can verify that product's legitimacy every step of the way until it reaches the customer.

Now think about grocery stores and how many recalls there are on tainted products (700+ recalls per year in the US). Throw a blockchain tracked QR code on every shipment of goods and you can weed out the tarnished product immediately and save capital. And as soon as BaaS is adopted by one business, competition in the same domain HAVE TO adopt, otherwise they lack the same security and lose profit+trust.

Walmart China has indirectly been buying VTHO for years to use as gas prices on the network through Toolchain. Any client onboarded through Toolchain is a part of the Vechain ecosystem, whether they understand it or not. As corporate adoption increases, retail investors (that's us) get gains out the fucking ass because we own all the VET (gas stations) that these businesses need to buy VTHO from to run their operation.

And honestly fuck the pump that's going on right now, because this is a loooong term hold. With all crypto there's a lot of minutia and uncertainty, but if this shit actually pans out the way it's designed, then you are 100% guaranteed to make it and much much more.

What I am proposing is people find a project, that also pumps during this bull run, that doesn't have 64 billion circulating tokens. Your money is much better directed to projects with better tokenomics and use cases. Crypto has bigger problems to solve, scaling issues. Those in the know will make a killin on competitors and solutions. Those who don't will hold VeChain.

You're honestly better off studying what /biz/ shills to catch a pump and get instant profit...I know theres a fuckton of people here (including myself) who missed out on LINK because I brushed off the meme threads when it was <$1.

VET is a long term speculation and a gamble. But if they can pull off what they're trying to accomplish, it's life changing money for the early adopters. People like to call it a chinascam and I don't blame them, because anyone in this space has gotten BURNT by projects that promise more than they can deliver. It really comes down to who you decide to place your trust in.

I'm just saying, most people here don't dig as deep as we do for use cases because the money in a bullrun resides in purely hype. Fundamentals are what makes something like GRT a safe long term investment if you're willing to hold.

And as a self admitted VET bagholder+fanboy I would say the same for that too. You can call my bias naive but I'll defend it. In my mind the goal is to find the next bitcoin and if you can predict what chain is going to be top 5 MCAP in the next 5+ years then you are golden.

It’s expected for transactions to spike at mainnet launch as they write clients from private to public blockchain. VTHO consumption has been steadily rising and will soon outpace the daily generation rate

Freshly lurking here hoping to see more discussion like you guys have been having, instead I'm being distracted by the latest pump and dumps. I am honestly tempted to buy now but waiting for a correction.

You guys seem smart, so I will humbly beg: any recommended reading for a nocoins tard looking to get into crypto? I'm young and don't know shit about finance or crypto. But I can see it is here to stay, and in the big picture, still early. I don't mind making time to learn from the ground up, just point me in the right direction.

Either way, I appreciated the breath of fresh air in this shithole.

FUDders say that transactions spiked in 2018 and then crashed. The spike was from migrating to public blockchain though, and transactions have been steadily rising since. Adoption is about to go through the roof because VeChain is focusing on tools for mass adoption like ToolChain. It’s extremely bullish

sub 1-mil stacklet here but I've been in since under a cent. Good to see some measured discussion itt. Hoping for 0.40-0.60 and think $1 is unrealistic this time around. Vechain have had big news in the pipeline for a while and when it drops I hope it shuts the fudders up. around 0.40-0.60 is all i need for lifechanging money and step 1 on the way to properly making it.

best advice I can give: find something you think is cool or are interested in and invest. Learn how it works and defend your beliefs.

I've had play money for the last 3 years because I threw $1k in a voting token called HST. Literally bought the bottom and retardedly sold the top before it crashed to oblivion. Selling at the time I did was luck, but the gains were based on something I believed in. What do you enjoy/study anon? If you find something that interests you it's worth throwing some money at

last post: for what it's worth it isnt that vechain "isn't gs1 compliant" - it can be built into it. GS1 is an industry standard made for and by a specific group of companies, so literally everything that is not GS1 is not GS1 compliant.

The excuse was that no one asked for it yet. This obviously means they aren't doing business with the right clientele.

Basic research should tell you this is a bad buy.

>"Mature coin"
>Nothing but dead and non functional t- barely functional dapps,
>the functioning parts don't even use block chain

In 3 years they have nothing that tells me they're going to make the type money it takes to develop and market a fast and functioning blockchain. It's all tetris and 2048 clones, and clones of more established defi exchanges.

https://vechainworld.io/#/dapp/all

99% the original investors and devs dumped their bags and went on to other projects.

I bought 60 bucks worth on a whim the other day

My advice is live on this forum, have fun with it learning about finance. Basically just Google eveything you don't understand. Invest a little till you are ready to go in on something with 10k. You won't get the multiplier without a high token count. Find something you can be a whale in for the cheapest price, but make you know it's worth while project and will moon.

You'll get a sense for it when you understand the tech. There's tokenomics, fundamentals, and hype, and these in any order can have drastic effects on a project. All hype can move the price, but it may not last without fundamentals. Tokenomics can create hype and so ok and so forth. GL.

Learn any of the tokens mentioned in this thread. Once you understand what they offer, why people like them, etc., you can start recognizing patterns and then you will be better prepared to make future picks that build upon the infrastructure of crypto. It honestly can be overwhelming, but just take your time. Enjoy seems memes, 4chans blatant racism, and shit posting.

unironically you could keep sleeping on blockchain and still make it. if those are your interests, then you're better off than me anon. you know a trade (welding) and like to program for fun. for someone unfamiliar with the crypto space, just throw $100 into Bitcoin for every paycheck you get and you will 100% make it.

All of the tokens I told that dude to swap from his pure VET stack. Nothing shilled in particular. Just stuff that kinda puts vet to shame if you really think about the way those projects are moving.
