reposting from last thread:

>I need some help /pmg/. I recently acquired pic related on ebay. 1oz Silver Kangaroo gilded perth mint 2020. I googled around and discovered this isn't the top result for that search term and there's actually a different design for the 2020 version. I found my version eventually on some random coin listing site but no where else. The seller said 5000 were minted which is pretty standard so I feel like something is up, any ideas?

I tried the ping test and it doesn't sound good.
Hoping someone can identify it or provide any other easy test methods.

Hey PMG, former triple-digit stacklet here (lost in a boating accident, RIP) currently a renter in a large city. I don't have a car so in a SHTF scenario I'd be trapped. What would you do in my situation? I could buy a cheap 12 year old piece-of-shit-mobile in cash to save more money for stacking, or I could finance a new car for 6 years and hope that inflation really starts kicking in while I'm still paying it off.

Don't even get me started on real estate right now, if I could afford a country house I would have left the city years ago

Hi there
Yes you can sell / transfer a claim easily through the mineral titles online website. Both people must have FMCs and payment must be a minimum of $100 dollars.
As a claim holder you can only deny access though a claim if it has an active set of mining permits on it, you can not stop people driving through your claim or gate / block trails or roads without an active mining permit.

The reason claims supersede private land is because the mining law predates the private homestead acts.

the only animals I ever took with a .22 were deer. I poached a couple over 30 years back when I was homeless. I took them with head shots, right through the eye at close range. Less than 50 yards with a scope.

I don't recommend it because of risk of injuring an animal plus risk of arrest. But in a survival situation it works if you're a good enough shot. The bigger problem is processing and storage of meat, but that's even further off topic.

It was just a matter of effort. It rained every day and I didn't know about battony chop chop or have tools to do it. So I could light a fire but it was a massive pain in the ass. Instead I just ate my trouts raw. I've also tried raw squirrel, rabbit, and camp robber. But fish has the fat you need to survive so you invariably come back to it. Plus fish is super easy to catch and doesn't require guns or ammo. I never got sick off it, but I have gotten sick off the water. And if you're alone getting sick can be the end of you.

IDK that seems ridiculous. SD bullion probably isn't buying shit for volume on 1000 oz bars. APMEX barely even moves any of them. I've watched the APMEX 1k bar inventory (they list the serial numbers) and they take a loooong time to move

These 1000oz bars are what industrial customers would buy and take for delivery. Whether it's industrial use or for minting for example. With the run on bullion inventory the mints are looking to re-up, with their own premiums rising due to limited supply the cost will definitely get passed down further to the customer and additionally this increased demand for physical delivery may shake out or default the COOMEX this time

A single contract is 5 of those fuckers. APMEX moves a lot more bullion than SD bullion and they couldn't move those shits last July. If SD Bullion wants some, they are going to be buying like 4 max. Everyone knows silver is tight coming out of refineries, but there is no way they are asking for 0.80 premium. I listen to Macguire every 2 weeks and he would report that if actually big orders cost that much

gold krug 1977 rings pretty well >>28649635 Can second the ASE ping although it's a lower pitch than gold krug because it is wider. Gold krug rings longer because gold is denser. I haven't been able to coin toss it high enough to hear a significant dropoff in sound to below 60%-70% perceived intensity so i'd say gold krug 1977 is a pretty good ping

it was a random process but I've been homeless a few times and always got back up. Employment is the key. If you have a job you can always find a place to live, a woman to fuck, and a new opportunity to pursue.

you should be smart enough to analyze the situation your self. Look at a map. How many people in the big city, how many roads, how far to safe country. If its a slow grind down many people will be leaving over a period of years. If there is a sudden large event the roads will be clogged. I left early to go to the shooting range one day not long ago. Drive out of city, through small town, down long winding road to end to range. While I was there shit tons of day 4x4s drove past to enjoy the new snow and there was a massive traffic jam of people looking to have some offroad fun. It there was some major emergency every fucking freeway would be jammed. Everyone with a street bike, trail bike, dirt bike would be jammed on the road. everyone with a 4x4 would jam the side roads, dirt roads, shoulders.

Once your see slow degradation make a plan and schedule when you simply relocate to nicer area.

Don't do this, trade it in to any physical place and tell them you want bars instead and you'll likely get a better price as they can sell it right now without really losing any money. The fees for melting will surely be at least 10%, possibly much more depending on how much you want melted down.
Either that or find someone who wants junk and trade them junk for bullion, there's bound to be a lot of people who want junk for greater divisibility.

My understanding (I have no firsthand knowledge of this industry) is that big orders (mints, family offices, industry) order ahead of time direct from refineries. Macguire has stated since about Nov/Dec that refineries are pushing back silver production to meet gold production. And these orders are LARGE. Dozens/hundreds of times larger than what Apmex or SD bullion would be buying. No one is going to sell that small of a lot without getting a hefty premium because pissing off a long term large buyer they have a forward contract with would be very expensive.

literally in the SLV prospectus...

>Actual or perceived disruptions in the processes used to determine the LBMA Silver Price, or lack of confidence in that benchmark, may adversely affect the return on your investment in the Shares (if any).
>may adversely affect the return on your investment in the Shares (if any).
>(if any).

>A significant change in the sentiment of investors towards silver may occur. Investors may purchase Shares to speculate on the price of silver or to hedge existing silver exposure. Speculation on the price of silver may involve long and short exposures. To the extent that the aggregate short exposure exceeds the number of Shares available for purchase, investors with short exposure may have to pay a premium to repurchase Shares for delivery to Share lenders. In turn, those repurchases may dramatically increase the price of the Shares until additional Shares are issued through the creation process. This could lead to volatile price movements in Shares that are not directly correlated to the price of silver.

Presumably liquidity is handled because it can be traded for other crypto pairs. I have a friend that was involved with bitcoin mining for a while that has been looking for something like that. It has some distinct advantages over the other gold based tokens.
The counterparty risk is the tradeoff here. Anyone who doesn't trust vaults isn't going to start now. The other is also the lack of FDIC insurance (or its equivalent in other places). It is basically a gold backed credit union with a bank account that is tied to both the volatility and price of paper gold markets. Which right now are great since real spot prices are so divergent.
The alternative is PSLV, but that doesn't have a yield, has an expense ratio, and requires far larger lots to get physical delivery.

It's so fucking stupid.
Literally nothing in real business can have counterparty removed. Everything is a forward contract to some extent. You cannot remove counterparty risk from a forward transaction. Knowing who is in charge and where they live is good enough. It's faceless corporations that create the problem

Yep, which is why I am going to half only about half of my physical in kinesis just to see how it goes. The idea of not paying vault fees and getting a yield is very appealing to me. Part of it is that I really do trust Andrew Macguire. He was calling out the bank shenanigans well before anyone else thought it was a possibility and his involvement is really the main reason I can get past that trust issue.

You're an absolute fucking retard if you believe this. We're well into Stage 7 of the 10 stages of Genocide against whites in the west. We're literally talking about purging the military of whites and replacing them with bio-Leninist subhumans who will follow orders without question to exterminate whitey when the day comes.

The cycle won't come around to pick up whites because the only (and I do mean only) group of humans on the planet who helps the out-group as much as they help their own in-group are white people. Humans aren't replaceable parts where you can swap one for another, the differences between races are based on hundreds of thousands of years of divergent evolution in vastly different ecologies.

When whites are gone, the whole world will be one giant slave camp for the Chinese, with no technological advancement (that requires geniuses, something Asians do no tolerate), no free thought or expression, and no hope.

You don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about. We aren't talking about minorities joining the military (blacks, who are significantly less intelligent than all other minorities in the US, join the military in disproportionate numbers because it is one of the few career paths open to them due to it not requiring high intelligence), we're talking about policy that actively encourages the hiring of sub-standard recruits based on their skin color. If you're one of those self0-hating white then please, please kill yourself and spare us your suicidal stupidity.

If you're one of the minorities living in the civilization built and maintained by whites, then you should just shut the fuck up and be grateful that we've reached a point in history where whites as a race have become -- quite literally -- suicidality altruistic.

They try to hide inflation.
One of the main ways is precious metals manipulation.
They naked short sell and then when it comes time to pay back the silver they borrowed they naked short more to drive down the price enough to buy to cover the previous contracts at a profit.
Eventually they good and properly cover.
And they let the price rise back up.
But they always short it back down harder than they let it rise.
They are allowed to do this sort of manipulation that would in theory be illegal.
It is defacto sanctioned because it covers for the reckless monetary policy of the federal reserve which benefits the financial sector as a whole.
Because inflation is in reality a tax on normal people to the benefit of financial institutions.

Yea.
Prices exist for a reason.
They coordinate production and consumption.
You cant just have false price signals being sent in a market without consequences.
In this case these false signals will signal to industry to over use and under ration and under invest in exploration and mining.
The market will win EVENTUALLY.
I am hoping this latest push will break them.
I really think it has a solid chance.
If not that hopefully in my lifetime atleast.
