Can confirm, got straight A's in HS with no effort, played CS and Dota all day and still got laid. I'm smart enough to realize being rich has no correlation with being smart because intelligence is subjective and it only applies to the environment and circumstances around you and how you interact with them.

The smartest person in the world could be living in a remote island enjoying life with their family and friends with no need for anything else but enjoying their human experience just as the dumbest person in the world inherits and owns every luxurious skyscraper and rich corporation in the world. It's all based on chance and ultimately being smart has no correlation with being rich, you could argue that smart people are always successful but even that argument goes out the window when you realize intelligent people become smarter from observing and learning from their failures and experiences.

Even if you were born with an amazing intellect, its entirely normal and probable that some of the smartest people live the most humble and obscure lives simply because that is what they choose to do and what they enjoy.

Personally I think most of these behavior trends are simple, this is just personal speculation but I believe it's simple; humans acclimate to their surroundings. To a poor person that's been homeless having a significant amount of money really is life changing and if they're smart it can become their greatest asset going forward. However it's also the case that if you were to switch the environments of both people for an extended period of time the baseline of their outlook on money would eventually acclimate to their new surroundings. I believe this is why some anons will never be content to retire on less than $5m (because they come from rich families) whereas people who have never had more than 100k to their name could effectively plan their retirement around $300k. Although what I'm saying is probably common sense.

I always avoided the stock market because I thought I was too stupid.

After learning for about a year, I'm currently making 3-5% returns daily on spreads. I feel like it shouldn't be this easy, but then again, I assume a lot of people avoid this because they're afraid and think themselves too stupid as well.

Im not rich but I can already live from my masternodes in a third world country. I dont have to complete excel spreadsheets for mr. shekelberg anymore.
I paint, go to the gym, write, make my own short films/music/photography as a hobby, play the piano. This year Im learning to sing. I literally dont have to do anything that I dont like or dont want.
And yes, doing excel spreadsheets for 8 hours a day would kill my soul. Anyone saying that money doesnt matter is stupid because money buys you freedom. I do agree tho that after certain point money is just a luxury waste.

And if Im not smart, at least Im collected enough not to fall for fomo and bear/bulltraps. It needs certain mental stability that most people dont have. But yes, compared to the plebs I am actually smart. Now again, IM NOT RICH, but I paid for my freedom already.

Although—
I've personally been convinced through my own objective research that there is more beyond this physical life—just look up Shroud of Turin (the burial cloth of Jesus) and the peer reviewed journals on the subject of near death experiences for just an introduction to the case for this claim.
I'm convinced that Jesus Christ is Lord and so serving God is truly all that matters in this life.

WATCH the Shroud of Turin video if you're skeptical. Very interesting and it's 30 mins that can change your life. In the very least it shows that there's something more than what we understand as the natural.
Also.
Gary Habermas works with a peer reviewed journal with a university back east who've been doing a lot of interesting research with people who are measurably dead (no measurable brain or heart activity) and documenting cases of verifiable evidence that there was a projected consciousness when there shouldn't have been any.
He has a lot of interesting stories like people hearing what their family members have said in the waiting room. Definitely worth looking deeper into if anons are looking for a case against naturalism.
