Stop looking at 1m candles. Just relax this is a long term hold not a pnd. Delegate that grt and come back in a month. I bought at 0.3, 0.7, 1.08, and 1.70. Everytime the ceiling rises. I'm gonna continue to dca and grow my stack to a solid 50000.

Spread your buys out over a longer period, even if it's just one day. It's much safer that way. Also use stop losses.

Indexers host their indexing service.
Delegators add GRT to indexers service to make it bigger/more stable.
Other developers and crypto can use GRT to query things quickly, and get applications up and running faster than building from scratch. Previously you may have had to use a specific websites API, but now you can universally use GRT to do it for all.
Because you are adding stability to the network and assisting indexers, and in turn assisting developers or whoever else is using queries, you're essentially providing a service. You get rewarded for this.

Delegation rewards are consistent if the indexer doesn't change the reward %. There is 0 change to the amount of GRT you get per hour when delegating due to the price of GRT. You don't get the cash value of the GRT, what changes. You get paid in GRT which is automatically redelegated into your indexer for compounding interest on crack. So 400 GRT a month is put back in to the indexer and you get more rewards over time because you have more GRT. 400 GRT you delegated last month and only made $240 if it sold automatically is now worth $700-800 if you were to sell it this month.

If you delegate a year and get 4800 free GRT, it could be worth way more than original price.
and if you delegated for multiple years and GRT ends up being $10, all those years of delegation have added up to a lot more than if you hadn't delegated at all.
What will change is the amount of GRT in indexers lowering the rewards over time. The more delegated, the less rewards (again once the indexer actually changes the reward %) For this to happen though GRT has to be taken OUT of the market. That means there is less circulation and the price of GRT would then go up.
And because you can not sell for 28 days after undelegating, short term market pumps/dumps can't sway the price of GRT so heavily that it crashes. Ideally.

Long term holds also give you long term capital gains tax vs short term. That's 20% vs 37% tax. Choose wisely.

> Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, into the future.
>Within 2 days GRT has jumped 133%
>If you are aware of the concept of “time”, and the concept of holding GRT, you will make profit

I explained this the best I could in layman’s terms OP
