No, it's fucking over. You haven't been paying attention. All someone has to do is run their own BTC node. That would be the case for anyone who wants to participate on this network unless you rent someone else's, but anyone that has the capacity to do significant volume is not going to use Stakenet's node when they can run their own. It just doesn't make any sense.

Yet after all these years no one has done this....

Just build your own orderbook and layer 2 dex bro.

The tech wasn't ready and it's still not, but you don't need to build your own orderbook. You can use any lightning node and router. This just doesn't make any sense. XSN is its own separate lightning chain, so it's only used to route between XSN nodes. You already have to worry about the hub being online or offline as it is, so it wouldn't make sense to trust a third party with your money. Think this through.

You understand you would have to do the same thing too, right? Like, if you want to be a hub provider, you have to run every network that you want a hub for. You'd have to run LTC, BTC, etc if you wanted to be a hub. So why do it on Stakenet? It just doesn't make sense.

Btc nodes are too expensive and slow to run it on.

Pretty sure it's fud, not the first time i've seen this lightning network fud. Unfortunately I didn't save the answers the last time he got btfo.

>but you don't need to build your own orderbook
You do since it's new tech. No one has built orderbooks on lightning except for stakenet.

Hold on, what are you talking about? I'm genuinely interested if I missed out on something, but are you saying the Stakenet DEX and interface (that is supposed to be easy to use etc) isn't neccessary at all?

Also what do you mean trust a 3rd party? The whole idea behind Stakenet is to have full control of your funds and do trustless swaps between BTC, ETH etc.

Honestly it seems to me that you're talking about another project or that you don't know what you're talking about.

Wtf are you smoking? This isn't true at all.

Once again pulling shit out of your ass, you don't have to trust a third party.
>if you wanted to be a hub. So why do it on Stakenet? It just doesn't make sense.
Because you earn trading fees. Did you not see the hydra proposal?

Every stakenet light wallet is a Lightning node - for BTC, XSN and LTC and every other lightning compatible coin we will add.
A person who runs a BTC node could only provide BTC orderbook liquidity - that's all.
