How can I convince my parents not to sell their BTC?

They are happy with the gains they got, they said they want to sell off, and help out the kids (ie: my siblings, etc) - and that "they're old and in their 60s now"

Im trying to convince them to hold for another few years but they keep insisting "NOOO WERE OLD WE WANT TO SELL NOW"

How can I convince them that 60s is not old, I mean ffs their parents are in their late 80s/early 90s now.

They want to sell and give us money, but I said they should hold onto it for another 3-5 years and sell then if they really want to. But they insist they will sell.

They agreed to give me my shares in bitcoin, I dont want it in fiat. My normalfag brother and normalfag sister want their share in fiat because they're brainlet normalfags.

Should I just keep my mouth shut and accept the BTC and let them fuck up by selling the rest?

Don't. They'll blame you if it goes down, and won't even think of you if it goes up. It's their money, let the boomers be boomers.

>give me my shares in bitcoin
Bitcoin is not a security.
>Should I just keep my mouth shut and accept the BTC and let them fuck up by selling the rest?
Yes. When this current bubble pops they will have wished they had cashed out now. If you do not mind holding until the next and bigger bubble just take your bitcoin and endure whatever ridicule you get for not selling.

My share* I meant.

Their intention is to sell now and give me and my sister/brother equal share of whatever they sell for, but I insisted I dont want fiat, I want my share to be transferred to my own wallet.

My brother/sister can take their normalfag shitty fiat.

When this bubble pops you won't be seeing this low prices. The top will be north of $300 000.

You should try to think of a strategy for convincing your family to hodl on to a part of their share in BTC, while still enjoying it and spending. Even making a few transactions with BTC to try the tech out. You're all used to QR codes now. Always double check though.

Bitcoin was featured in the news today. Some of you have amnesia, or weren't around 2017. It will max hit 100k. I'm estimating 80k. There are no free tickets.

and in addition to that. convince them that cashing out would make them have to eventually realize capital gainz tax. so the 'over the counter' just transfering to your wallet keeps your family out of the irs books. also prepare everything, so they just need to click on sent, as soon your siblings got paid by you. if it takes some days to arrange, spread the usual FUD, that you pick up here, to make your siblings pressure to seal the deal quickly. you dont want them to see it go up even more in the next days

I don't see what the problem is, unless you're just trying to look out for your normie siblings who would otherwise stay in fiat. Don't try and convince your parents, try and convince your siblings to convey to your parents that they want bitcoin like you do.

I guess it's kind of nice of you to be looking out for your siblings, but it's not your responsibility to be their parent and govern them away from making bad decisions (it's not like they are saying they want to try meth or something). Get your ego out of the picture, maybe send your siblings some articles, an audio book, or something you think they would find most persuasive. If unsuccessful then that's the breaks, almost no one can persuade anyone of anything substantive. When you are proven right just highlight it once to them in the least annoying way possible.

I was lucky enough to have boomer parents who asked me about BTC like a year ago because pops was curious about throwing some money at it.
He bought half a coin at the 2020 low, and he's like well over 10x.
And he flat out said he's never selling it.

We will reach ATH in a few months and it will be above 100k. Tell them to put a limit and start selling at 100k. 25%// 120k another 25%//etc etc.
