AVAX confirmed for new RAIBLOCK

Was lucky to participate in both

FUCK YES

>> No.28069317

This is only happening because of the alt bull run we're currently in

>> No.28070032

yep. only retards aren't seeing this

AVAX will crash to $10-$12 in the next few weeks. Many new bag holders will be created soon kek

>> No.28070456

You won't see AVAX under $20 again.

>> No.28070535

>>28070416
Omg I want this to be true so badly so I can stock up.

>> No.28070650

>>28069224
It's going up the same way EGLD and other new projects do, fomo.
Keep in mind that these will crash the same way they pumped, don't be a retard and have an exit strategy.
>muh utility

Fuck utility, no one gives a shit about your eth killer or btc killer, everybody trades for FIAT

>> No.28071194

>>28070650
Avax bros, this is the best fud i've seen yet. These projects are almost identical. Any counter fud? https://www.cointimemachine.com/cryptocurrency/compare/elrond-egld/avalanche/

>> No.28071358

>>28071194
Not fud, I hold both avax and egld and I made shitload of gains on them.
I will wait for a 10-15% more percent which I'm sure will be easy at this point, then sell some of my coins and keep the remaining ones staked, you can stake both avax and egld

>> No.28071466

Word. What is your sell point for staked coins?

what's the top for this?

Their white paper doesn't say what their finality time is. Kinda sus

>>28071678
Who fucking cares? It could solve world hunger for all I care, it's something that makes me money right now, same as avax and other projects.
Hold coins because of their utility and you can join the ADA community and jerk each other off in a circle and reassure yourselves that you're superior for holding coins and not profiting.
Again, people who make money are in it for the money, this is all that crypto does.
If it were about the technology both btc and eth would have been replaced by now.

>> No.28072445

>>28072289
I am avax hodler, and what you say about fiat and utility is definitely true. For now. Do you believe in the future of crypto though? Or do you think fiat will always be king,

>> No.28072448

>>28071466
I'll hold them for some small passive income, it's money I can gamble and lose if both projects dip badly.

>> No.28072463

>>28070535
haha kinda same but conflicted

>> No.28072581

>>28072448
For sure anon. You seem smart. Tell me some of your favorite shitcoins to flip avax profits into, and I'll definitely look heavily into them.

>> No.28072618

>>28072445
I do believe crypto or an upgraded form of it will actually succeed and replace fiat.
BUT, keep in mind that for now, 90% of the population or so has no clue what crypto is or how it works. My boomer parents won't ever understand how to pay with crypto or the concept behind it.
Probably the future generations who are born into this, my opinion is that when large scale adoption happens, we'll be long dead.

EGLD has classical consensus algorithm and sharding
The limits of that is 1000tps on the PoS layer and sharding suffers from being weakest security at the weakest shard

All other coins improving classical consensus such as ADA ETH2 ALGORAND ELROND have the same limits on number of nodes and trade away some security for more scalability.

AVAX is limitless it does not trade away decentralization or security for scalability.

Note I didnt mention IOTA and such scam shitcoins since they have NO consensus algorithm at all but rely on 1 central node for "consensus".

How much does it cost to host an AVAX node now, like $15,000?

>> No.28072971

>>28072919

$60000

>> No.28072984

>>28072789
I bought about 60 at $28! I really don't want that shit to dump. I don't think it should because of the big money and professionals behind the coin. It might temporarily dip though but i didn't feel like taking that chance.
Btw I only spend what I can afford to lose. This stuff is still gambling.

Emin Gün Sirer:
>Cornell CS Prof who created the first POW protocol ever in 2003
>Co Director of IC3 which is 180+ researchers and 6 Unis
>EGS shills Link & is in close partnership with the Chainlink team
>Vitalik endorses EGS & already acknowledged Avalanche is a Breakthrough on par with BTC
>like Sergey EGS toured around the world for years educating People about decentralization

Avalanche protocol:
>The third consensus protocol after Nakamotos PoW and Classical
>basically consensus is reached by probabilistic sampling thousands of independent nodes over multiple rounds
>This is not repackaged shit with minimal tinkering here and there its a completely new type of Consensus Protocol
>4500+ REAL TPS (no bullshit tricks, batching, or centralized L2)
>it can scale to MILLIONS of Validators while maintaining high tps & sub second finality
>more decentralized than everything else
>running a Node is easy & hardware requirements are low
>Resists 51% attacks (would need 80%)

Tokenomics & Profit:
>hardcapped
>AVAX needed for staking & delegating
>needed to participate in governance of the network
>fees are burned & is burned when Subnets, Blockchains or other assets are created
>currently 10% APY
>only requirement to receive the rewards is 60% node uptime
>node costs ca. 20 bucks a month on a VPS

Subnetworks:
>sub networks can be launched on Avalanche with near infinite customization
>plug in and use the Avalanche Consensus for your already existing Blockchain so you dont have to build your own (like with decentralized oracles)
>Chainlink already moving to Avalanche
>AVAX node may be a member of many subnets & earn rewards from them!

Full EVM support:
>All ETH infrastructure can work on AVAX out of the box
>athereum.avax.network/
>Big picture: in no time the best parts of the entire crypto ecosystem can be mirrored on Avalanche and giving it all the TPS, scalability, speed and interoperability that it needs for the next stage

Where will the resistance points in the current system be though? Heard some fud over regulation, but any regulation short of an outright ban it would only really legitimise it.
