Few places let you push out DOGE or other coins directly to fiat and if you do its kind of cumbersome etc. So what's the best protocol? So far I've considered either..

A) Exchange DOGE / XMR etc.. directly for whatever altcoin you want . Doing this seems like there's often a lower value than the USD value (and I don't mean like transaction fees, I mean a significant difference) Like $300 worth of DOGE only gets me 286 of XMR, or 278 BTC etc.. in various exchanges. Is this normal?

B) Exchange DOGE / XMR / etc.. for BTC / ETH . Same issue seems to be as above. Then of course I could make some account on a fiat-friendly platform that I could use to withdrawal, but that seems to have its own cost

C) Exchange DOGE et al for a stablecoin like USDT or USDC? Same thing seems to happen in terms of value and USDT anywayseems to be an ETH-based Token so... not sure exactly how that works. Is it wise to exchange to a stablecoin? It seems like a stablecoin pegged to USD like USDT (or USDC? Is one stablecoin better than another?) would give you the exact value (minus network fee) of the coin at the time of transaction but that doesnt' seem to be the case. For instance i checked now 300USD of DOGE is 292 USDT.

I've been using the Edge wallet (the only open source multiwallet I've found that supports both Monero, Dogecoin, and a bunch of others) as a "hot" wallet moving shit around for investment, as has a way to sell crypto (ie Wyre gives you ACH apparently to cash out in fiat, Bitaccess for BTMs if you have one nearby) as well as a variety of exchanges it queries for the best (changeally, changenow, godex, sideshift.ai, switchain coinswitch etv) .

Ideas or info?
