I’ve been doing these every night for about 4 months. They aren’t really scary or mystical at all. Just a nice relaxing way to meditate and I had been looking for a way to destress other than drugs and alcohol. I also read Robert Monroe’s books and did a lot of research into this. Unfortunately I guess I’m just not a spiritual enough person to experience any kind of real mystical states. But some of the tracks like “cast your problem out into the universe and wait for the answer to come back to you” are good meditations that are useful and relaxing. I really like just listening to all the cool sci fi sounds. Also, and this is key, you really have to listen to them in on something that plays FLAC or Apple Lossless with WIRED headphones. It doesn’t work if you aren’t using headphones, and if you are using cheap Bluetooth earbuds or some Shit the audio resolution isn’t high enough to hear all the cool sounds they layered into the recordings. If through using these I eventually develop some great powers and make a million dollars I would like to go on record here that I will make a large donation to the Monroe institute to say thanks.
