I slept on IOTA for a while after the mess of the past few years but these boys have really got their act together and if they pull this off there is no doubt they will be the go to network for value, identity, NFT's, tokenization, de-fi and everything else. Solving the trilemma takes crypto from dial up to broadband.

Smart contracts alpha is starting next few weeks (pre-alpha published last year). Additionally, IOTA is building an ERC-20 bridge, so existing project can migrate onto feeless Tangle. Things will be insane

Chrysalis (and the followup goal, Coordicide) will make IOTA have an actual usecase a lot of speculation shitcoins basically cannot have. It's a fantastic coin.

It's getting a big update next month, although as long as you buy it before June-July I think you'll be ok. The price has been all over the place, but so has all of crypto in 2021.
