Alright, got it fixed with minimal errors. If I forgot something feel free to correct it, just going to post this once for those interedted.

Alright anon that was having problems with Xumm and Bitstamp here, screencap for future reference. After thorough experimentation I was able to set up both BTC and Dollar assets on Bitstamp. On the Xumm app I activated both assets to for a cost of 5XRP each (a total of 10xrp, you also need to deposit 20XRP in order to use Xumm) so now every time I access the app, I can see the Bitstamp assets. This is needed for Bitstamp to be able to send what’s on their site called “IOU (BTC,USD)”. Now that you have both Xumm and Bitstamp set, you need to buy crypto and then sell for USD, my advice is to buy USDC which is a stablecoin, and then sell it in Bitstamp for USD. After you buy the currency on Bitstamp (or withdraw it from another exchange and send to Bitstamp) you need to go to the Withdraw section and use the IOU option, here you will get the option of putting your Destination address (in this case is your Xumm address). Now on the amount put whatever you want to send. You will get two choices, US Dollars (which is what you got in exchange from selling your crypto) and BTC. After sending either BTC or USD to Bistamp, you use the IO option and send to Xumm. That’s it, now you can play with the currency on Xumm and use it to exchange for XRPies!!! As for the exchange rates, the USD are constantly updated on the Xumm app, as for BTC I’m still uncertain.

I think the most interesting thing about XRP is the ability to provide liquidity to banks and get APY. Of course I could cash out when it moons, but I have a relatively small stack that would net me about 200k a year at 2k per with 5%apy. That's really tough to say. Personally, I'm probably going to stick with XRP. Flare/ Spark is technology that I can hardly begin to understand... If I'm correct in my thinking, the main purpose of Flare will be to reduce the net supply of XRP by burning it, which should help to skyrocket XRP's perceived value once everything does kick off ("muh market cap" is the biggest anti-XRP FUD out there.) In other words, XRP *SHOULD* still be the golden child-- especially considering as Flare wants to peg Spark to the value of USD, which I see as dramatically going down over the next decade.
