No. You do pay for healthcare with your taxes, but you don't pay as much as in the US.
Because the state is not negotiating healthcare prices like a single individual could. Doctors are making less (but still a shit ton of money), private health insurances are making waaaaay less (they still exist for things the state does'nt cover 100%).

American health insurances are jewing you hard.
Healthcare is one of the best proofs of the failure of american "capitalism".

>> No.27648350

I can confirm. Well it's definitely not impossible, it's just that you don't get rich by studying hard, getting a great job and investing. Because of the progressive tax rates it does not really make a huge difference if you make let's say 4k a month or 7k a month.

But a genius with a good business will become rich in any country, and the climate for corporations is not that bad in Europe

I tried macadamia but I'm not really located in an ideal microclimate for that. It's a little too wet here on the windward coast. Cacao does really good so planting more of that and maybe branch over to chocolate production for spoiled hipsters.

It would be unwise. Prices going up. High chance of pandemics decimating banana production since they're mostly the same clone. If that happens then short bananas get squeezed.
