Millenials what are you're biggest regrets? Anything that is still relevent for zoomer just turned adult. No I am not a newfag I've only just become able to actually buy things

Date as many women as possible, go to concerts, get punched in the face, punch somebody in the face, save at least 10% of each paycheck to save/invest, think long and hard about what work you want to do for the rest of your life, try all the hobbies you want to try.

Put your money in a 401k and max out the contribution each year. It is free money.

Invest some of your paycheck in crypto. Don't worry about girls too much but do keep up a workout routine. It is so hard to start working out when you are older and fatter.

If you lose money on investments don't get discouraged, quitting will only make you miss opportunities.
Funny enough I knew about this concept in other fields and applied it successfully plenty of times (setbacks are no failure, they're just experience) but I still let it get the best of me when investing on crypto, and because of that I missed out on some nice pumps that I would have bought, now that I'm back I'm doing better than ever.

Don't waste all of your time in your career like I did, only to realize in your 30s that you missed out on living any sort of life all of that time because work was everything.
Have money but it's all so empty and tiresome. The "responsibility" crowd turned out to be full of shit. Live while you're young. Don't be a retard and accumulate some earnings, but don't forget that there's way more to life than careers and money. I did and I regret it.

27. Just took a loan to buy a home. This is the only debt I have left.

Don't go to school if you can find the knowledge online. Bolster your self worth by learning that knowledge online and creating a place to show off that knowledge. YouTube, Github, etc.

If you live in a state where the cost of living is higher than what you'll ever make. Leave. You'll be much happier when you're in a place that lets your money go much further.

You're in your early 20s. Spend some time alone and thinking about what you want the most out of your life. I spent the first 3 to 4 years of my 20s trying to decide where I wanted to be in life. I opted in for a programming job and taught myself.

Try a semester of college. If you hate it. It's not for you and do something else. Trade schools are worth more and won't take you 4 or 5 years just to get a shitty piece of paper and $50,000 of debt. Just know it's physical labor but can be incredibly rewarding considering that you'll be doing things with your hands.

You are going to hate yourself by 25 if you don't get your shit together by then.

If you are having trouble staying genuinely happy. Try micro dosing edibles. You'll realize there's an entire different personality that sits on the other side.

Only get the bare minimum that you need. Live small so you can live larger.

The thing is: you can "learn" about investing, you can literally go to school to study economics. You can try to become the go-getter, the smart, golden kid etc.

That still doesn't change the fact that I was at 28 a NEET master race who just happened to buy a fucking MOON coin at 10 cents and exited the markets at 1000x and made a million bucks. I wasted most of my 20s just working at fucking gas stations and abusing drugs: yet I still made more money than you are able to achieve in the coming decade

You can't replicate that, no matter how smart kid you are. You are not neet master race, and you probably are years late to the game. It's the harsh truth: you will never, ever be Neet early investor master race like I was.

My DUI was my biggest regret. In general most of what causes younger people to go down disastrous life-changing paths is car related. Drive like a pussy.

Aside from that, I regret playing so much video games (something i don't do at all anymore)

I regret not putting as much into investments. Put money in now, and put money in often. Seriously break the 10% rule. You're young with no responsibilities or obligations. Sock as much money into stocks and crypto as you can.

All those loans I got on new cars and motorcycles were a complete waste, and brought me no joy.

Hmm, I’m a 27 year old man living at home but I have about 245k in crypto. I only have about $400 in the bank. I’ll go homeless before touching that crypto. I pretty much wasted my early 20s with video games, friends, and drinking. I went to school at the age of 24 and that’s when I got my first official job. I’m almost done with school, I don’t have to worry about debt because it’s free for me. I don’t really regret anything. I guess not pursing more female relationships. I wish I manned up more and just fucking went with it. Also, wish I took weight lifting a little bit more seriously, I’ll have to get back in the gym because I can feel a fucking difference in my body. If I could go back. I would
>Join the reserves
>Ask out the quiet chicks more
>really focus on weight lifting
>Go into programming
But other than that, that’s pretty much it. I use to be a sad cunt when I was a bit young but you’ll realize that’s just life. There isn’t a fucking rule book or style you should live your life. It’s just whatever and shit happens. If you’re concerned with money, get a job and focus on that. Just get out there and see what happens.

Also, since you’re in your late teens/early 20s. Try and fuck as many milfs has you can. Just do it. You’ll be surprised at how many 40+ women will just spread it for you.

Invest in yourself. The 30s truly are the new 20's. Save money and invest, don't get FOMO of missing out on that decade, because if you do things competently (not even talking investing moonshot shit, just working up at a job) you'll have like double the salary, general buying power, and maturity at 30-35 than you did at 20-25. If you feel the need for higher education, do it online, as cheaply as possible from a regionally accredited university -- don't get a graduate degree ever.
> t. graduated college in 2008, couldn't get a single fucking job, thought a (((graduate degree))) would help, graduated in 2011 with ton of debt, STILL couldn't get a job for a full year and finally got one starting at $41-fucking-K a year.

Yes, this. Go out and have a little fun. Now is the time to do it. Also, your early 20s should be used to experiment a bit and see what kind of things you like to do. I'm 31 and I don't miss my 20s. Know why? Because I had a blast and don't feel like I missed out. Now I have a nice career, I'm financially stable, and I have enough experience with women, friends, and hobbies I like, that I have some confidence that I can handle things well enough

kek, I have a BS in business admin and an MS in fucking mass communication and I'm a senior developer at a large defense contractor. If a place demands comp sci degrees and coding quiz shit you don't want to work for them anyway.
Coding is "show, don't tell" at the end of the day. You can get all the degrees in trivial academic computer science shit, bootcamps, and meaningless certs and nanodegrees etc, but all we look for when hiring people is demonstrable experience doing actual shit --- not just sitting and talking about doing it. You show me you've built some cool stuff personally and/or professionally and have great problem-solving and info-gathering approaches, and you're in.

Anyone shilling MUH COMP SCI DEGREES is just tranny coping at how they spent $100K on a degree learning the history of processors and the rest of the 99% of the curriculum they will literally never ever use again.
99.999% of CS grads just end up getting jobs as programmers, and that shit is more of a trade at this point.
Copers just want you to feel the same pain they do so they can feel a bit better about the huge debt they took to try and get a job people with literally 0 degrees can do just as well and often better.

Biggest regrets:

Wasting too much time and energy on a dead end job. Chase the big money, don't get sucked into working hard for nothing. Most jobs are dogshit with no future.

Not taking bigger risks. I spent too much time on the "slow but steady" approach and missed out on big opportunities. As I said, the middle class way of life is dead. That approach worked for boomers who only had to not be a complete fuck up to make it, but it doesn't work now.

Generally listening to boomers too much for advice instead of looking at what was actually happening. Same could be true of millenial advice to zoomers so be careful. Things like what careers to go into, what investments to make, etc. Rather than give any specific advice here, best thing is to look at what jobs are actually paying well out of school and within 5 years (actual stats not articles), ditto for investments etc.

I followed the advice of my boomer parents to...
>get a college degree. Doesn't matter what it is in, just as long as you get one. Employers will instantly hire you.
Got it in psychology. Ended up having to pursue a master's in human-factors/cognition but wasn't able to land a tech related gig in the area I live. The career I'm in now hardly uses any of that education. I only use it as a means to an end now. Money that I instantly put into investments. I've made more this way than doing the wage slave bullshit. Wish I knew this much sooner of course.

don't be a pussy and don't hate the world, it's not so bad. don't think you can save the world either or any bullshit like that. i spent years 18-26 just hating everything and everyone, and doing nothing with those years. now that i'm 30 this year i realise that it was all just some weird excuse i had made up for being a faggot. i lost all my friends in that period, never went to clubs or dated girls because i thought i was better than everyone else. went from being able to pick and choose any girl i wanted in the school / college era and having the kind of genuine super confidence in yourself that lets you believe the sort of dumb stuff that you have to believe to end up with such an extreme superiority complex, to total self-loathing and 0 confident with women. don't smoke weed either, that's a big trap a lot of people fall into. and looking back now i have no idea where the last 10 years went, most of it spent in front of a screen playing video games and (in the second half) drinking almost every day to try and escape the hell i'd made for myself.
so go out, don't smoke weed, don't stay indoors, think long term, not short term, life is a long thing, every day you spend living like you don't give a fuck about your future is a day wasted

"What about the main thing in life, all its riddles? If you want, I'll spell it out for you right now. Do not pursue what is illusionary -property and position: all that is gained at the expense of your nerves decade after decade, and is confiscated in one fell night. Live with a steady superiority over life -don't be afraid of misfortune, and do not yearn for happiness; it is, after all, all the same: the bitter doesn't last forever, and the sweet never fills the cup to overflowing. It is enough if you don't freeze in the cold and if thirst and hunger don't claw at your insides. If your back isn't broken, if your feet can walk, if both arms can bend, if both eyes can see, if both ears hear, then whom should you envy? And why? Our envy of others devours us most of all. Rub your eyes and purify your heart -and prize above all else in the world those who love you and who wish you well. Do not hurt them or scold them, and never part from any of them in anger; after all, you simply do not know: it may be your last act before your arrest, and that will be how you are imprinted on their memory."

Don't make major life changes to make your girlfriend happy. Never care about a girl more than she cares about you. Seriously in your 20's women are the biggest way you can fuck up your financial future.
Save up about 25k and hire a financial advisor and open a mutual fund you put at least half your income in it and by the time you're 30 you'll be rich compared to all your friends. Big financial down turn is incoming you'll want to stack cash to take advantage. The question is will you play it safe and do mutual funds or will you roll the dice and pick stocks yourself. Personally I would do the funds since you are young and the gains will be consistent

Those are all the things I should have done. I recommend going to college and getting a real degree. Hint: if it's difficult it's probably a good degree to get. Go to your local community college first and do as many English, math, and gen ed classes as you can so you can save money over doing the entire 4 years at a 4 year university. You don't want to be going to college at 30 like me. I'm using my GI bill to pay for things but I wish I would have just sat my ass down and did the work years ago. Trades are a fucking meme. Manual labor is slave labor. People respect white collar workers and being respected is a good feeling. Watching yourself get older and still working shitty jobs is a terrible feeling. Invest in crypto as much as you can. I look back at prices a year ago and I know I could be worth 50-60k right now if I put in the same money I put in now. I just want to look back at this next year and be happy with my decision and have a much higher net worth. The most important thing though is that it's never too late to make positive changes and improve yourself but don't wait to start making changes.

>make a spreadsheet where you write down all your fixed costs for living, subscription expenses, variable expenses and income

Another thing that's more life advice than financial would be if you've been interested in something but the entry cost is keeping you away just go for it. For decades I've been into motorcycles and this year I finally got one at 30 years old and I wish I did it so much sooner even though it was expensive. Setting small goals like "I'll save up 30k spend 12k on a bike and the rest into investments" is a good way to stay motivated. There is no reason to stack all this money if you're going to sit in a room and be miserable. Just be smart about it always invest more than you spend on your hobbies and hedonistic pleasures.

Ask a lot of girls out, it don’t tolerate their bullshit, break up with them quick.
Try a lot of crazy shit. Just don’t go to prison, have a kid outside of marriage, do anything that will affect you negatively forever.

Begin to make long term plans such as career, saving. But don’t forget to have fun.

Instill good habits and hobbies and lifestyle. But still experience crazy shit.

Pro mode: talk to a stranger everyday. A mix of hotties, bums, elderly, random dude, whoever.

Shower and go outside everyday.

this is stupid and probably comes from someone with a complex. fuck girls you like. i mean sure, go fuck some girl just for the sake of fucking her, but trust me, as soon as you came you will question yourself on why you even bothered and wished she was gone. so again, fuck girls you like. either go for fuckbuddies or relationships. just fucking girls for the sake of fucking them is just retarded. just fap if you are horny.
>make friends
very simple and very important. cannot stress this enough. maybe worth to add is to also take care of your friendships.
>build a real future for yourself, being 20 doesn't last forever
vague goals like this will lead to nothing. when formulating goals either have a clear idea of what you want or if you dont, chill and think about it another time. after one year most things will often be completely different anyways when you are young. just dont stand still. always do something and never forget to also value the process instead of only the goal.
