This. Whales control the crypto markets so you have to think like them. If you were a whale that bought in at like $1400 then you probably wouldn't want to take profits right now. Will probably go up a few hundred dollars more before a dump occurs so you're relatively safe to buy in now.

That's not how this shit works. You buy promising projects and hold them for years. If you're looking to get rich quick you're going to go broke fast. You don't have the experience to ride scamcoin PnD's to the promised land. Do your research into projects that you think have a valid solution to a current problem. Research the fuck out of that ONE project. Then if you like it and think it's going to go far, you buy and hold.

It's all speculative and extremely risky but if you're right you'll make a ton of money over time. Pump your bag on your pet project until you get a make it stack and then diversify. Alternatively you can just pump your money into BTC/ETH/LINK and be generally sure that you will make money. LTC is a shitcoin but Boomers love it so you could throw it in there as a generally safe bet too.

Yes, but maybe it dumps down from $2k to $1600 and stabilizes? Now you're getting less for your money. Regardless if you believe in the asset then there is never really a BAD time to buy in. You just hold those fucking bags. This burns a lot of people holding shitcoins that will never do anything but bagholding on ETH/BTC is pretty much just waiting for eventual profits. At least until something comes along and actually kills ETH.
