I lose TONS of money on shitty options, I consistently hold too long out of greed, but on shares I generally only close green, and any losses are far outweighed by a gain I'm making parallel to a loss
That being said, options are also my best moneymakers, I can springboard my entire portfolio value up just as easily as I can kneecap myself with them

the WSB craze lately is the first time I've gone on Reddit for anything except cheap guns in probably 8 years, if something on there is trending THEY WILL BUY
They're not nearly as fast as smg on the trigger, so if you snap early and the post stays high long enough, you can more or less ride their pump and dumps regardless if the post was good-natured or not
For example, silver had 2 trending posts with iirc 60k? upvotes each or so, talking about how it would be the super squeeze, we'll take on the banks, ect. It followed a format extremely similar to AMC just a few days earlier, which said the same things but was ultimately derailed by three times as many posts saying AMC was a distraction- subsequently causing it to crash from 20$ to 5$ overnight.
The same thing happened to silver, unsurprisingly, but it was far less volatile. Instead of reddit being the sole price setter, MSM started spamming the reddit silver craze bait everywhere, and boomers and FOMO'ers bought into the idea as well, giving you plenty of time to exit as Reddit circulated the "fuck you we don't like silver" and all their guys exited.
Watch the WSB trending and see if anything aside from GME gets up there, and its extremely bullish short-term if it does, but you have to watch the charts and make sure you didn't miss the ship already.

Yeah, the problem is that camera market is very tiny and shrinking, it's gonna be dying soon due to people switching to just using their smartphones, and already some pros use iPhones.
If you own a camera, you own lenses for that camera, and you don't switch brands often, even if you upgrade your camera body. You are basically locked to the system, unless you want to replace all your lenses. People don't replace their cameras often either, many buy 2nd hand or use models that are even 10 years old.
Not to mention that all Sony cameras suffer from short flange and full frame sensor, which gives you terrible corners, the lenses are more expensive to manufacture, and many 3rd party brands gave up the system for that reason.
If you wanna invest in Sony, their camera division is not a reason to do so.
