frens, how does one get into the precious metals business? i want to become a pm dealer. should i start selling on ebay first and slowly build capital until i can buy larger inventory that is closer to spot from wholesalers? where does one source pm's that is closer to spot? is it just a matter of buying large amounts like the bigger pm retailers do? i just want to be a comfy little coin jew making small premiums on my silver/gold coin sales. i want to do this until i build up momentum and can turn into a mega rothschild tier jew.

Buy dying boomers' stacks to build up an inventory. Maybe message the mints to see about bulk dealer prices.

Find a bigger refiner in your area if you can.
Also the silver buying/selling operates on thin margins. You would do much better selling used jewelry if you can source it from your local shop at scrap prices.
Obviously the initial investment required when selling pure/coin silver is much larger than for the jewelry, but then selling jewelry this way also requires someone that is willing to sell you the jewelry at scrap prices.
I have a refiner close by and this is what I do for living.
I'm getting fucked in the ass lately because no one is selling.
If you think you can make a lot of money selling silver, think again. This isn't how it works.

Buy coins from mint, sell them online for now.

Long run having a little precious metals in your shop is not a bad idea.

Those stacks go to the kids. I never even see coins at estate sales either

i never said i can make a lot of money. i realize the razor thin margins in the business. i understand that being profitable depends on sheer volume. all this being said, i can easily survive on very low profits for a few years while i build up momentum. i have other income which i can draw from and any meager profits from selling pm's would go back directly into the business.

There are only a handful of coin dealers in my area. The problem with these places is in order to make money, you have to well under spot, and boomers are going to bitch in your face about. Also, only faggot boomer autists give a shit about collectible coins - and were probably sold theirs by scammy internet jews in in the mid aughts who promised these special rare coins were going be worth a fortune. Good luck with all that.
