But I didn't know what made it so profitable. turns out UPRO is a leveraged S&P500 ETF and TMF is the US bond ETF. So, if I understand it correctly, TMF is there to partially cancel the risk associated with the UPRO leverage because investors will flee into TMF if UPRO has a downturn?
