In some ways it seems like similar amounts of effort if you compare the same amount of time but Doctors are in it for the longer haul resulting in more stress (before residency) AND the viciously competitive requirements to get into med school already gives most a few white hairs.
Nursing school isn't as competitive and most state funded ones use a waiting list if you meet minimum requirements but it's starting to catch up.
There was a time where some states were flooded with scam meme nursing schools that produced a glut of trash tier nurses.

I managed to get a specialty job in my hospital doing vascular access. (Putting in IV’s using ultra sound). I also float and work on all the units. I get paid 53$ HR to do it. The other nurses make 32-40$/HR. Honestly, I think it’s the best job in the world.
