In general rich people spend their surplus money on investments, mostly on construction, at least 65% of all investment is construction, directly or indirectly. The capital of most companies whatever they do is mostly buildings. At least half of the rest is spent on electrical power plants, and the rest into a mix of planes, trucks, general machinery and cars. About 4 billion a year are spent this way. And much of the money you spend on maintaining lands is tax deductible. Would you rather pay the tax man or buy a new skid steer instead? The thing I learned when I got money was that the tax code actually controls what happens in an economy. The tax code is the reason there are strip malls and parking lots everywhere. It's the reason that we build highways for semi's instead of rail for freight. It's why people become landlords. The entire non profit industry would not exist if it wasn't for tax code.

When I was young and dumb as fuck I did heavy drugs for nearly 10 years, crippling alcohol addiction and was fucking whores and partying and it gave me nothing. I was suicidal, hated life, hated everyone. I spent everything I had because I was told I was supposed to do something with my money because LEL you need to because you make a lot of money. Since I stopped listening to bullshit advice (like you recommending gambling - what the fuck) I’ve finally managed to just use my money to get assets that matter, get sober and for the first time in 30 years I’m happy.

Fuck the stupid jew life they are forcing onto us. Even if my money becomes useless, I live in the countryside now with my family and we don’t care about the money. Use it as a tool and that’s it. Get to where you want in life, be sober and just relax.

if all your entire life is is accumulating money, it doesnt seem like a life at all. like even if you saved 90% of it what would the 10 you use go to? beyond something boring and predictable like a house or whatever. you have to live a life, unless all you want is to accrue enough money that you can stay inside your house and never leave again. i think its great you are content with a normal life and all of that and that you are a family man, it makes you better than most of us here. im just saying like, isnt there something you could use some of the money for? like funding research for something that youre passionate about? or building some kind of city structure that can benefit people? im just spitballing of course. it could be your own personal racetrack for all i care. i just feel like hording and not ever using the majority of it seems like a waste of potential somehow.

I respect that and I do understand where you’re coming from. Why can’t I use this money to help people, in this instance. This is true, and my wife and I usually enjoy helping out those in the small town but not with money. I was helping a guy I knew in the bar when I used to be an alcoholic and I would give him money because I didn’t want him to suffer because he was broke all the time, like when I was doing coke and getting drunk 24/7. In the end the money he used that he said he’d get clothes for jobs, rent etc he blew on booze. Where am I going with this? I dunno. I’m happy to give money to whoever needs it is what I mean. If you ask me and truly need it I’ll give you whatever but more often than not, people haven’t a clue what to do with the money and end up wasting it.

I guess you’re right, man. It is wasted potential and I guess I’m just saying I don’t know why I horde it either. Just for security because I know what it’s like to be broke and with nothing? Fear of losing everything. Maybe I also fear that money won’t help change peoples mindsets so I just keep it for a rainy day for when something is needed for us. what exactly do you think i spend my money on? i save most of what i make. but the reason i save most of what i make, is so that i can position myself for a better life. and so i can provide for my family not unlike some of the other people here.

however, if i actually had enough money that i could spend half of it and it wouldnt change the fact i was set for the rest of my life, i would absolutely spend some of it on things im passionate about because if i died what good would the extra cash be then? and you and no one else here seems to have an answer for that.

So it makes sense then to at least invest some of that into future tech or medical research or something you think is cool in some way. hell build a castle or something with it. or fund or create an organization for something. it can be shit you spend on yourself or it can be shit you spend on other people. just hording it and doing nothing with it is stupid.

you can still live simply and still accomplish something despite that. you dont have to take what you do with that extra money home with you. if you wanted, with an extra mil you could start an organization for something you believe in, set up a leadership for it, walk away, and continue your life in the exact way you are now. so it isnt a matter of not living a simple life or whatever.

What bugged me about it was that he could have saved half or 70 percent of it, invested that, and used the other 30 for something more meaningful like traveling to another country and living there for a year or two, or diving into a specific sport and getting professional coaching or something to better himself. not everything about spending money needs to be about consumerism. it can still just be about experience and life.

so are you diversifying your investments then into other things not related to the dollar? like crypto and metals and things more tangible? the dollar can always crash and i suppose its another reason why doing nothing with it bothers me while it does have value.

not really.. what i care about i can get very cheaply or for free. to others i might just be a poor neet but the truth is that even with this lifestyle im having excess money so i dont really consider myself that poor. my idea of poor is someone who does not have any money left after paying for essential basic things like food and whatever bills you have

i admire your simple lifestyle. i dont think people should lose sight of it. all im saying is that money is power, and if you have extra, and there is something in the world you care about and want to change in some way, that extra money you have lying around may have the power to do that. im not saying go full retard on activism. frankly the guy earlier talking about making anime girls or whatever is just as valid a use. you can shape the world in your own little way if you are rich enough. doesnt need to be about fuck you money as one anon put it, and lambos and mansions.

i know for me i would do a lot more sports, i grew up doing a lot of extreme sports and i love stuff like motorcycles and dumb dangerous shit. but all of that is expensive and i dont have the time or money for all of that. i would probably build some of my own private tracks or something and just go wild with that. but i wouldnt want nice cars or a big house or anything like that. but i do want to have fun. take tony hawk for example, its a silly thing to bring up, but he goes around the US building skateparks that benefit people. i think its awesome building cool shit that people can actually use and it not be something run of the mill like another corporate building like some other anon talked about.

Idk, I'm not that big of a kike as to try and profit from giving to charity. I'd rather give to a charity than the govt though. I've been poor. I was more liberal then. Maybe just because I was younger. But realizing how much money the gov takes and finding out how many rich people start fake llc's and hire attorneys just to dodge taxes has made me a fucking nazi.

i think if i was rich honestly, because you mention smart phone zombies, i would try to build some things around my city that would encourage people go outside. there is a tedtalk from a old architect and city planner where he explains that all towns originally were supposed to have a town square meeting center were people would gather and socialize and have fun.

while its an outdated concept in some way i feel like there should be modern equivilents. i remember as a kid there were a lot of fun places to go outside even if it was dumb shit like those massive chucky cheese sort of buildings that were 2 stories tall, or elaborate arcades. but there are economic reasons why that sort of stuff and malls have faded away i suppose. i think people were happier back then though.

as i said before if you only make money to make more money you are just trapped in the JRPG level scaling scenario where the numbers get larger but the gameplay is the same. if thats the only life you want then good luck.

Experiences are way more valuable than stuff. I've been able to have some amazing adventures by virtue of having extra money. If I had spent that money on stuff, it would just be more shit for my family to deal with after I'm gone. I'd rather invest in giving my family great memories than a fucking mercedes or some nigger tier shit.

I'm not actually that rich but that's what they do, eventually you have enough assets that they sustain the cash flow for you and then you buy some nice things
