No, day trading means you do trading during the day, ie during the opening hours of NYSE or Binance Exchange.
Swing trading means a physical fight, ie fisticuffs between two or more brokers.
long term holding means carrying the child to the last trimester and then liquidating the investment and then aborting it.

This is all the basic stuff you need to know, to make it, to trade it, you name it and don't forget it.
