Have you deleted the Robinhood app yet?

No. I don't want to sell my GME unless it crabs crabs or plummets monday and tuesday. I did start the transfer to fidelity for everything else in the account though.

No, I don't which brokerage to use. I'm thinking about either ameritrade or webull but I can't decide. Any advice?

I never installed it because FLASHY BUTTONS and COOL INTERFACE and SHINY GRAPHS aren't enough to convince me that my financial future belongs there.
Choose a broker who doesn't put on the kneepads when the going gets tough for hedgies. Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, etc

No. It’s still a great app if you’re not a gambler. I hate what they did, but paying the $75 transfer fee and deleting the app does nothing.

DON'T FORGET TO GIVE IT ONE STAR.

If you're still on robinhood, you should find a new broker ASAP. Retail brokers who didn't blow up completely Thursday include:

vanguard
td ameritrade (though they did implement restrictions)
fidelity (though they did have some technical issues)

No point in taking time out of your day to do this when daddy Jewgle can just delete the mean reviews from the dirty plebs

Webull is the same pig, different lipstick as RH. It's even chinese owned - and not by proxy like RH or the US Government, but an actual, bonafide, honest to god pack of chinks. You're better off with some boomer firm. Ameritrade might be fine, but there were a few posts here saying they restricted GME. Not sure what the status of that is currently, so DYR. I was going with Vanguard, but the fidelity website seems better - especially for options - so I'll be trying them as well. Both of those should be trustworthy if another GME unicorn comes up.

the charts and expanded charts are still very nice in my opinion. i moved 75% of myassets into TDA a long time ago and I am happy with TDAs website and normal app. Think or Swim is unironically garbage tho. But TDA just updated its normal mobile app and its fire.

im going to continue using robinhood for the charts only. forget the shady buy controls they implemented... if you trade options, sometimes you need tofucking sell at market open and you cannot rely on RH to be there for you its been proven time and time again. watch them crash monday morning too...

I'm on the Canadian side of things. Questrade hasn't heeb'd my jeebies, yet.
I was opening up an account with Interactive Brokers when they sent a notice about GME but it seems like it was mainly about margin. They assured that they didn't limit trading but "might in certain instances". Anyone who trades with IB know if they capitulated to hedgies any more than they admitted? I really like the freedom and services their platform offers. I know there's obviously no dealing with a compromised broker, so it's important to know if I should close the account and look elsewhere.

I use fidelity. It's good and easy to use for the most part. Options UI isn't my favorite - for example if you make all your selections and change your limit order to a market order, sometimes you have to reenter everything. Not sure if automated trading is possible there haven't looked into it.

IB Chairman gave a big blubbering interview about how they needed to protect clearing houses....and the customers, of course......
That's reason enough to make me want to jump, trying to find an uncucked broker.
