I got in XRP at 20c last year. All was well, I was happy with it and planned to hold longterm. Then got caught up in the December madness. Doubled my stack at 40c. Then got dunked on by the SEC. Today I dumped my bag at 30c for BTC. I've made no money from a 6 month investment but i've learned lessons about crypto trading.
Now ive got a decision to make about ALGO. Since last September-November I accumulated. I planned it as a longterm hold. Put it in the wallet. Allow it to grow through interest. I didn't expect this pump and can't decide if I should dump it then double my stack when the price dumps. My bags are up 2.5x. I believe in it as a project and dread to think I might get priced out. Honestly I'd wait for the right time and tell him you fucked up. I'd probably avoid too many details, like your internet friends tricking you to buy a meme. Instead explain it as you tried to diversify but got stung on a few bad coins then dug a deeper hole trying to get out. Offer to pay him back. My portfolio is 99% Link, if that tells you anything. Just make sure to not sell whatever you buy, even if it dumps. Link is basically guaranteed to be worth at least $100 sometime this year, very possible at least $1000 this decade. I won't drop the redpills, but make sure you browse through every link thread you see. You'll eventually pick up on why it's a pretty safe bet as far as alts go.
