I just mean basic terminology and functions, not some shit like worthless financial acumen theory or anything. I've been aware of the gamestop thing for months but I didn't get in because stocks scary.
Them undervaluing gamestop and trying their best to paint them as a dead company just to make money off shorting the stock has made me realize that there's likely a ton of companies they've been doing this to that they're locked into, and I want to give it a try (not live savings big or anything but a few hundred bucks, maybe a thousand total).
