We all know this.
It's just a get rich quick scheme and no one gives a single shit about it's fundamentals.
It's a massive worldwide casino.
Doesn't mean you can't make a bank though.

It's true but but things being true is not the only part of the game of economics, you must also somehow manage to determine the significance of people not knowing or caring about truth.

Everyone knows its a scam. But scams make people rich all the time. Just make sure your the scammer not the scam-e. If you think your shitcoins are going to be some revolution, you're the scam-e.

It's a collector's token that can be transferred instantly from one part of the world to another; recorded on a ledger that tracks all transactions and nearly impossible to hack. I wouldn't say it's a safe store of value given the volatility and possible future gov banning of crypto, but it can be used to store value given the empirical evidence.

If people sell baseball cards for thousands of dollars, which has no reason use for anyone other than to admire the collection. Why can't a bit in a computer that's limited in supply be as well?

His "intrinsic value" belief is wrong, no such thing as intrinsic value. It's whatever the market demands.

Pic related defines "value" as whatever is convenient for him at any given time, depending on what arguments he's defending, allowing him to state that "gold has value, bitcon has no value".

bitcoin has the same "value" as the invention of writing had "value" to ancient marketplaces. Just a technological innovation which facilitates trade.
Writing--propagate information on trades through time, make contract enforcement feasible, facilitate large business through accounting & inventories
BTC--make contract enforcement obsolete by removing all need for trust from either party from the transaction; ultimate effect: make markets able to scale even larger, by rendering merchants and customers fungible (no need to ever meet or personally know anything about the person with whom you are trading)

BTC's explicit value is far outstripped by its implicit value as a speculative asset. It's a platonic form of wealth storage compared to gold as it cannot be hyperinflated by an authoritative body like the fed but it can't be used in other applications like electronics, jewelry and others. Really XMR and newer shitcoins like ADA and NANO will fill the void after the craze ends.
