Neither. The only reason these stocks went up is because hedge funds that short GME are also also shorting these stocks, and they needed to raise capital do they covered their shorts here to have more buying power. Hedge funds don't want a margin call from their brokers on their GME short, so they were covering their positions in these stocks in order to have buying power to not have their positions liquidated. It's a liquidity issue. Nothing else.
