As far as I understand, Linkpool is a huge gamble because no one know the details of staking yet and people are hoarding LP tokens in hopes of big rewards.
Sure it might pay off but it also might not.
I also don't see why LP would have an eternal monopoly on staking pool marketplaces since there is an economic incentive to compete with them.

I think you make a very good valid point as it would affect the overall competitive chainlink ecosystem. However on the other side, I think even if there are many competitors, it would grow in an organic way. But like you mentioned, I also agree it is kind of a gamble high risk / high reward.
