There's no real logical reason not to. Bugs are objectively nutritious, and we already use them for commonly accepted things. Pretty much every edible red food dye is crushed beetle shells, for example. You're already eating bugs when you eat smarties. But there's no way in fuck I'm ever eating a bug covered burger like in op, fuck that shit.

And in terms of ways to profit, make a "Cooking With Bugs" recipe blog, and then load it full of ads, do a 'newsletter' where you just collect emails to shove more ads down their throat, charge a subscription, etc. There's probably not a lot of competition right now
