What statera needs now is marketing. This, and a fully developed dashboard. The marketing is the crucial part however, as that is the key to volume. Statera is a safe pick regardless because of it being so insanely good for arb bots, which becomes a lot more profitable with Balancer/Uni/Eth upgrades. These bots cause volume by itself at which point liquidity providers just need to sit and reap in the fees. It's a money machine, but it's still super early. I'm utterly convinced that strong hands will be heavily rewarded for holding statera. It's different.

I believe this is one of the reasons they are holding off with anything until it's 100% confirmed. They got a lot of backlash after the dashboard, even though there's not much they could do about it since wSTA just came out of nowhere. I think the dashboard dev had a covid case in his family as well. They probably should've just released the dash with only phoenix/delta but it doesn't really matter, I don't think it would make a difference until marketing starts anyway. The majority of sta holders are /biz/raelites and are usually skilled enough to adjust slippage and provide liquidity.
