guys i think i came up with a good schizo way to safely store my keys on some usbs.

>use offline computer with fresh os install (or similar)
>get an offline QR code generator and set width to 1px and generate QR with seeds or encrypted seeds
>get a 24 megapixel black and white photo of some old house
>paste QR in photo
>save photo to album with other similar pics
>use whatever you want to archive and encrypt that album
>voila! a needle in a haystack!

i just need to find an easy, common, and reliable way to encrypt and decipher the text with a passphrase.

I wouldn't want to mess about with random substances, I used to be against people even using test but then I realized the game was rigged from the start. The ledger works by generating an addressed based on the secret key stored on it. Flare Network will be using the Ethereum key derivation mechanism so you will get your air dropped tokens into a wallet on Flare Network with the same address as your ETH wallet on Ledger.

If you look at Towo labs github, you'll see they are using the Eth wallet on ledger code to make a Flare wallet for when mainnet is live. It'll be ready when main net is live, all you need to do is install the wallet on Ledger when it's live
