I sold exactly zero shares today. My thoughts: a short or gamma squeeze is possible. At this point, possibly even likely (i would not have said that before today). I expect a heavy dump on monday as shorts try to cover, but i am unsure. What i AM sure of now, and wasnt before, is that cohen is driving this boat now. The reddit vs. short sellers narrative is completely irrelevant. If you were early and are truly long (now on the speculative growth play and not just the value play), you know he is most likely going to make this a $10billion company within a year or two at the very least given his track record at chewy, his ownership %, him bringing his executives from chewy to gamestop, shermans apparent willingness to work with him, and the fact that gamestop has STILL RELEASED NO CONSOLE SEASON EARNINGS REPORT

I am seriously of the opinion that 2021 will see yield curve control (they almost have it now but not on the 10yr, 20yr, and the 30yr).
I think the markets are going to melt upward up through 2023 (though not nearly at the same rate as 2020). I think everyone should have some gold and/or crypto. I lean towards gold because its already been slammed by the Fed in the past. Crypto is still virgin by comparison and its definitely going to happen some time for central bank digital currencies to move forward.

Brought me from 4 figures to 5 figures. Probably a once in a life time trade for me. Crazy to think if you dumped 10k into the 60c weekly at open, it’d be worth over 8m at the peak. dude banks havent given interest since 2007. i remember the day my credit union announced they were scrapping the 1.5% interest rates on savings account, it went down to .065%, then .02%, then .005%, now they give you .0032 if you have a average daily balance over $100,000 for a month

you literally make more money parking your cash in federal treasury bonds and at least that shits guaranteed to stay at the current rate for a certain amount of years. i cant remember exactly but i think they can only adjust treasury rates every 5 years or something like that

I read about it. Apparently this was someone doing planned liquidation from like months and months back. Basically they were getting share dispersals as a bonus. They aren't dumping, just cashing in some chips. I think insiders are still going to hold over 90% of their shares.

I had amazing GME options. All for 4/16..... I’m talking 30s, 25s, 14s, 16s..... I sold them all for 300-500% gains LAST WEEK before today obviously and it’s for me legit feeling suicidal. The only thing I can think of that would force their hand is if the dollar was so pathetic or distrusted that it really was looking into the abyss of losing global reserve status. In which case, yea. This is why things like cruise ships, airlines, b&m retail and movie theatres are all super smart buys. The only question is, where's the bottom before the inevitable recovery? As they say, being early is being wrong sometimes, but there's so much money still to be made. The "bubble" is all in tech, which is no surprise. Keep looking for undervalued assets. A lot of people say its a larp, but assuming it was true, just sign up with whatever broker he's with and you should be fine selling the calls. It probably wouldn't work cause after you collect the premium on those calls, you'd have to withdraw it from them and I doubt they'd simply allow that. I just noticed he's profiting from each transaction since the share price goes up with each sell. Wtf? I kinda liked my position in this stock but this is odd to me. Are you suggesting I dump it?

if i was going to gamble on otm redit pumps id probably lean towards BB, i think more reditors seem hyped over that than AMC.

people are literally just buying AMC because it was at an all time low and just a month ago was double price at $4.

I hate how fundamentals don't mean squat in this clown market. Once you hit a good meme price, line goes up.

So the guy gets awarded stock in 2015, say, but it is locked for 5 years meaning he can't sell it until then.
5 years later he gets awarded stock again, locked again for 5 years. He probably gets less shares than before because now the company is more valuable. But he can sell his old shares, which are now free. So he sells as many as his old shares as new locked he gets.
This way he mantains his share of ownership of the company while also getting paid.

Gamestop has a chance to regain a foothold in the market by hosting game tournaments (post COVID) and coordinating events with all the e-fags that kids watch and follow on the internet.

Im not too sure how they can compete with the non physical game market, there's too many options out there now.

That’s why TA can mean Jack shit in today’s market. Investors literally don’t even know what they’re buying half the time. Fundamentally sound stocks get shorted and bled meanwhile Signal skyrockets because Tesla investors think Elon told them to buy some random company’s stock.

So you're saying the shares he's selling are NOT the same shares as he's receiving, only that the quantity is the same?

Why does Table I end with him having 0 beneficially owned stocks?

TA never actually worked my man. Financial analysis and value investing may be, but TA has been a meme for like 20 years.

Think about it: if enough people do TA, the maximum profit will already be extracted from TA when you get there. The only things correctly doing TA currently are HFT bots.

>Why does Table I end with him having 0 beneficially owned stocks?
He ends having 0 beneficially owned class A stock. The CEO of Cloudflare has a special kind of stock, as do many tech companies whose CEO is the founder. In this case class B I think. These gives him more voting rights.
So what the form reports is that he takes some of his class B stock (which is all that he actually has really) transforming it into class A stock, which then he goes to immediately sell.
So he's selling stock but he's probably also getting it awarded from the company so it's his way of getting paid.
If you look it says:
>The sale reported in this Form 4 was effected pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the reporting person on November 28, 2019.
This means that in December 2019 he decided already he was going to sell shares today.
It's not like he looked up the stock price and decided to dump them because it's too high.
For example you could make a rule that says: on 19 of January of 2021 I'm going to sell as many shares as I am awarded in compensation at market price.
