Are humans retarded? I have friends who made about 2mil with ICO's in 2017 but when we go to the super market, they still check whether some item costs $6 or $7. Why is it so hard to adapt for people. Why do we still care whether a taxi ride costs $20 or $30 when we made free 70k in a bullrun 3 weeks prior?

because those who make money are hardwired to find the best opportunity. it's so ingrained that you care about getting the best price all the time. it's just a way of life

It trains vigilance and discipline. Your friend is less likely to go, "hurr it's only 0.5% a trade" and piss everything away swinging around in a bear market. They'll adjust. You won't.

You get rich by buying low and selling high
So you have to bring the buy low attitude to everything

i make five figures a day and just went to walmart to buy some sanpan bottles bulk cuz theyre 30% off.

still an opportunity loss that 1k-2k you save on stuff is worth 5-6 figures depending where we're at in the market cycle it ends up being more like 10-20k. the only time its worth spending extra is if it saves you time or if its exactly what you want and it doesnt matter if it was $20 or $2000 for a jacket or shoes or something.

I agree with you OP

People put too much weight on losses (scientifically proven) and they don't accurately account for opportunity costs.

When you have millions of dollars, your brain energy should go towards how to multiply that wealth, not how to save a quarter at the supermarket.
