I think you'll be able to trade on uniswap soon, anon. 22 Epochs old here. The network is growing, albeit slowly. I hope some new frens will join the ranks

Wadup my humans
24 epoch “oldfag” here, although there are a good ~30-40 older than me
This shit is going to moon so hard in the coming year. Just hold, that’s all you have to do. Humanity is about to become *the* most important use case in crypto. Why? Airdrops. They’re heating up again and too many people had issues recently with getting too many/too few/none. Proof-of-humanity via Kleros and the democracy.earth dudes will kick this off, and I know for a fact they have Idena in mind
God, this is such a cool project. The only one that is giving me the early ETH vibes.
Thankfully we don’t even need biz faggots on this as it started getting a ton of traction with normals. We completely bypassed the need for cyberfaggots and manages to get traction where it matters. This will be the only coin to make normals get in before crypto enthusiasts, who will fomo in after, which will cause additional fomo from other normals
Just hold. Our time will come, but it will take some time.
Can’t believe we got to 5.5k identities btw. Insane

Its just linking a person to the blockchain right it doesnt identify them?
can it keep track of which people are who without storing personal info?
i imagine like some kindof public private key setup

>> No.26381645

>>26381439
Basically, each person is able to create an account there and verify that a real human is behind the account by performing a captcha-like test on chain. There are a few mechanisms that ensure that all of these accounts are unique to humans, with at most people having 2 accounts. Some mega brains are rumored to have managed to do 3, but I doubt it.
Because of this it requires 0 personal information to generate accounts. So, yes, it is entirely pseudonymous and keeps it this way.

>Its just linking a person to the blockchain right it doesnt identify them?
Precisely. It's an anonymous way to represent yourself, or have an identity, in a way that doesn't reveal your actual irl identity. To answer your other question, yes - but at no point is your personal data collected or used. That's just part of the value of idena

Yea i agree with the red guy I think itll be crucial eventually. how well does this integrate with chainlink?

ive also only got a high level understanding of link but im picturing a smart contract that requires like an idena account somehow before it completes.

For newcomers and lurkers, I hope you find this info valuable:
>idena.io - read about the project here.
>https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/idena - check this out for the iDNA price and exchanges to trade on
>Join the community Discord. You can beg for an invite here. The community is large enough where people are desperate to give them away.

I'm not entirely sure, to be honest, but I think you'll find this interesting if you're into LINK (specifically oracle voting): https://medium.com/@idena.network

>> No.26382695

>>26382027
It depends on how sergey and link ends up managing their system and how open they are.
In theory, this is by far the best way they could have to allow users to become oracles in their network. Due to human uniqueness, no one node operator could get enough nodes to take over the network. However, chainlink is known to not want to give up control and keep the verification system centralized so... who knows

Keep in mind that today Idena has already implemented oracles. First of its kind, human decision oracles on demand. Kleros is pretty close, but it is more geared towards dispute resolution and is financial stake-based, as opposed to unique voter-based. I know that it is not too difficult to implement a chainlink-type node into Idena and use that as an automated price-feed type oracle, but the effort isn’t trivial either.
Basically, either chainlink lets this into its play and integrates with it, or Idena will steamroll it eventually.
I can already hear stinkies running here to bash my response, but it’s the truth. Chainlink barely managed to onboard 150 nodes over 3 years with billions of dollars and manual verification, whereas Idena managed to get to 5.5k without dumping a cent, purely through the Idena system and protocol payouts. Long term, it is the automated system that will win.
Thankfully for chainlink, Idena is based on the ethereum node, so the compatibility isn’t tough and the private keys on Idena open up the same address on ethereum. Moreover, there are already existing contracts that port over the identity list from Idena to ethereum, so that could be used after some gas optimization.

Keep in mind that Idena is not without fault, and we’re today dealing with a “farmer” problem. A dude in Russia is paying approximately 500 people to pass the tests for him to give him the accounts. He basically sells their Idena rewards for btc, sells btc and gives them local currency, for which they’re ecstatic because russia is a shithole. This presents a problem for the network as he now has access to quite a few oracle votes — however, devs are in the middle of an update that will incentivize such farmers to “turn off” such votes and get additional rewards in return

Definitely not the whole stack. When projects moon, LPs get fucked really hard by impermanent loss.
If it grabs forever, yes, but a sub $4 mil (KEK) coin with 5.5k nodes and one of the most popular discussions among the bitcoin OGs on bitcoin talk is not going to stay at one price for a while on uniswap

it's the official NEET coin. Mining rewards are decent enough at the moment to pay for a vultr VPS; so, nothing crazy, but you can accumulate for free if you run locally on a shitty laptop or your main rig or whatever. I think some folks ran this on raspberry pi kek
