I FINALLY got money posted in my account after transferring it 3 days ago, but now have to wait another three business days (next Monday), until the money clears. Absolutely ridiculous. TDA is a great all around broker but really, Fidelity, is what you want for miners because they don't charge fees for OTC.
Most non-large cap miners are over the counter (OTC) and so buying or selling shares of those incur flat fees which favors larger volumes but also dings your returns over time if you have a lot of positions.

I wish they would allow instant purchase, it's one thing I actually like about Robinhood. Charles Schwab has a number of tickers that aren't on Robinhood, particularly microcaps.

I will say this dragon portfolio will do well if you focus on american assets. If you can not get a 30 year fixed rate mortgage at P/B levels around 10-15, consult deeper podcast blog and Robert Kiyosaki to get into housing. The liquidity on super low interest rates will end this decade.
Focus on a hawk strategy this decade, and then get into a dragon portfolio.

It's insane how suppressed precious metals are right now... The establishment of the west has literally confirmed it is committed to Keynesian economics and reducing the purchasing power of our fiat currencies to nothing.

This is pretty demoralising. Especially with all the US political developments. I'm not naive enough to think democracy matters, but the left wing now have total control throughout the whole western world. I don't see any right wing movement being remotely successful. White Europeans will now be reduced to tiny ethnic minorities in their own homelands and endure suffering our ancestors couldn't fathom.

It seems were just on a spiral downwards and we can't even use the economics of the situation to our advantage and profit from the collapse...

Depressing.

Mining asteroids is, at least I believe, an inevitability, sure. But I don't think it's anything for us to worry about in our lifetimes.

People have definitely been conditioned to think that gold is for schizo boomers. All the nonstop gold infomercials on Fox News certainly don't help, they come off as a get rich quick scheme more than anything else.

I've gained a lot of clout with my family for being right with various calls on current events, which I've leveraged to get them to buy PMs, but it's certainly not an easy process under normal circumstances. In my case, I appealed to my mother's desire to have something tangible (female desire for sense of security) instead of a bunch of numbers on a screen managed by some bank. I appealed to my dad by showing him how gold anticorrelates with stocks and even a modest position of ~20-30% of a portfolio will make it much more stable. All the money printing obviously made the case for him as well.

Basically you have to cater to the personality type of the person you are talking to. A person I know at work mentioned a few months ago about wanting to leverage a Biden victory to make money on investments, so I brought up how silver is needed for solar panels and will be increasingly needed in industry. Everyone has something that will draw them to it, but that's what so great about precious metals, I think.
