I think the gas fee is regular ethereum network costs. But the delegation fee is 0.5% of the stack you intend to delegate. So really you're better off delegating as much as possible in one go because the gas will eat your profits more than the fee.

I've got a 20k stack right now that's returning 10 GRT a day or 3650 a year. I plan to add another 20k into that once coinbase decided I'm a good cuck. Read the guide in the op to figure out how. With 5k you can probably expect about 2.5 tokens a day. If GRT goes to a dollar that's nearly $1k in earned compounding interest in a year. Any amount is worth it if you don't fuck yourself with the gas fees.

Most tokens are going to be staked, and delegation/indexing gives insane ROI so (smart) people will not just sell GRT once it reaches value, they will just reap the staking rewards sell that... Maybe, because that would mean lowering your stake, which would mean lower rewards.
Also, 1% of tokens get burned with usage. Right now we burned more than 5 million tokens with ONE subgraph, after ONE MONTH of usage. That is absolutely insane. 10 billions supply is nothing.
It's going FAR above $10, especially if you think 5~10 years into a future where people will trample over each other to develop dapps to supplant current tech giants. You'll see many trying to be the decentralized X, where X is Ebay, Amazon, Facebook, Uber, Just Eat, or whatever the fuck else. And some of them will succeed.
And there is no doubt that most of these companies will use the graph, simply because not doing so would be an upfront cost that risks killing your business right then and there.

The .50 support is real and the post-election pump is going to be obscene across the board.
$1 sometime over the weekend doesn't seem delusional when you consider BTC and ETH are going to recover and pump to new ATHs.
In fact, I'm starting to think the $10+ EOY meme is real given the potential growth and the way delegation locks you in for a month.

The indexer cut is not necessarily related to the amount you'll effectively get. Not all indexers are equally efficient. Check this one out if you want a more detailed view:
https://ryabina.io/thegraph

You can input the amount you'll delegate in the top right, where it says calculator and it will estimate how much you'll make. You can sort by that column too. But before you delegate give it a check to see for how long the indexer has been running, any reputation, etc.

>the Biden Pump
lmao no. Within the next few weeks Biden will be forced to signal to the "woke" "left" side of the coalition. This grand gesture will make the markets panic and crypto will over-react to the market as usual. Then when the hysteria calms down everything will pump back up (because fundamentally the Democrats don't really want to change anything, at least not until all the old white/(((white))) leadership dies.) Sell some of your stack before mid-February and buy the dip. Screenshot this post.

>Forced to signal
Lol no that's not how left wing politics work. They collect the votes needed to take office then they tell their base to fuck off for 4 years with all their demands because "we're up against literal Nazis and if I don't pass this bill giving your tax dollars to wall street, the Nazis will win". Biden will oversee the greatest market boom in history at the expenses of the lower class. But the media will paint it as a success for the poor because he used pretty words and kingdom hearts dialog about choosing light over darkness. If you don't care about culture or politics, now is the time to be in the market. Crypto isn't going anywhere either. China has a huge stake in Bitcoin mining and Biden won't upset his handlers.

You are ignoring the breakdown of the Democrat party. The old white leadership dying off and the new brown leadership rising up. Its not the Democrat party you knew anymore. They need to signal to this ascending brown coalition if they intend to keep the party whole. The signals are fundamentally toothless, but markets will overreact regardless, and that's when we buy. Write it in your calendar: March/April dump.

That would be true if our elected officials actually controlled the party. Your forgetting the donor class that actually runs the party.
If one person provides 90% of the campaign finance, you can bet your ass the party will vote the way they say. Need proof? #forcethevote didn't get a single "brown progressive" vote. Why? Because they know if they step out of line, there's a wall of infinite money ready to primary them into the fucking dirt with another pretty young brown face that will play ball. They can "signal" with platitudes. But they can't do anything. At least not anything that will impact the donors. See healthcare reform or ending the wars.

Honestly the Trump folks should be glad Biden won. I can't think of a bigger black pill than realizing both parties are a uni party corporate controlled puppet show. Even if the Dems have all 3 branches, nothing will change. And that's a good thing, for my wallet.

Of course the signals will be fundamentally toothless. But that won't make the market react less. Look at this thread: >>26258646
Shit like that can shook the markets just by being announced, even if they aren't realized in the end.
