Been living in CA for almost a full year now, downtown Long Beach specifically.

Not only am I getting taxed out the ass, but I'm paying $1700 for a 1 bedroom apartment (Its on the cheaper side, has no amenities and is definitely not luxury) and more than half the time there will be at least one homeless person crashed out in the back alley. Everyweek the city with clear the trash, but the next day a homeless person will drag another mattress back there.

Several times a day I'll hear people outside by the dumpster rummaging through trash for cans/food and then just pile the trash outside the dumpster without putting it back when their done. Seen plenty of dudes just pissing back there in broad daylight not even trying to be discrete. Occasionally I'll wake up at 3 AM from the homeless drunks and schizophrenics who just start yelling randomly.

Sure I'm less than a 15 min walk away from the beach, but I'm gonna run into at least 10 homeless people on my way there.

I don't think about California very much. Retarded poop map and pozz politics aside, It would be nice to go back for the money and the weather, good restaurants too but it's incredible how shit tier the people are almost without exception. I wouldn't even mind the taxes but god damn the urbanites of Cali are simply worse than anywhere else I've traveled to. Nightmare road system for all the taxes you pay too. Californians act like this is all a progressive development (which implies an ultimate goal other than whypipo self-deletion) and social intricacy but it's just a more complex spic-nig cycle than anything.

I will always like the Mountain states and rural parts of the states like the Ozarks more than Cali. Nature is the only thing worth preserving. Everything else is a dumpster ultimately.
