look at the 30m chart on bitcoin
once it turns from light colour all the way up to the opposite light colour (and the same for solid colour to solid colour), you catch a pretty good swing.

You just have to wait for price confirmation on the first candle as well as checking the volume.

I feel like right now with Bitcoin crabbing, that's a really good strat. Too bad I haven't been using it and I just noticed it now

I use the 9, 21, 200 ema moving average cross strategy. Its similar to macd but isnt as fast. I prefer it that way because it protects me from fake outs.
