Never go all in on one unless it's something like BTC or ETH, and even then I'd avoid it. I always like to keep at least 20% of my stack in something safe incase of an unanticipated bogging or hack, etc.
But yeah you should generally stick to 2-4 things at a time. It's easier to focus on a few good coins at a time, than to spread it out.

I've thought about that, but right now 1 LP share is delivering something like 3 LINK per week. We're in the bedrock of LINK adoption and 100x-ing the LINK network traffic is basically inevitable over the coming years.
Right now 1LP = 4528 LINK. At 30 LINK per week, it takes 151 weeks (or under 3 years) for a LP share to pay for itself. That's once the network gets rolling.

IDK bro, one part of my brain tells me to sell my LP for LINK, but when I think of network adoption I don't want to.

With a sub-1K investment, personally, I just do gambling coins.

~10% of $800 isn't shit. But if I dump it on a shitcoin that gets pumped by 30%, that's a big gain.

because if you're diversified you're guaranteed to not make any massive gains... with 1k you need to pick the winning horse in the race and get a 10x. then 10k could be put into ETH or BTC and you stand more of a chance of making it. i have 120k and i'm only in btc and eth, maybe i would have made more this week from DOT had i diversified but i'd also have gotten financially ruined all of Q4 last year when bitcoin moved

in the august defi bullrun i bought 1 eth worth of like 8 different coins. my total stack at the time was ~$30k
two of those coins more than 20x'd. i literally turned $350 into $8,000 twice. a couple of the other coins did a 2x-3x.

there's really nothing wrong with buying small bags of a variety of different coins. granted they should be low-cap, ideally $5m market cap max for small bags.

just invest according to the market cap.
