I might deliver chinese food this year and collect unemployment. I will get $700/week unemployment and $700/week from delivering chinese food under the table. With an WFH IT job, I will get $5,400 after taxes, but with UE and food delivery, I will get $6,300. I also have to pay coding bootcamp tuition when I get the job so that's $800 for the first 5 months, totaling $4,600 for IT.

I will miss out on $1,1700 for the first 5 months, which could be put into my mining operation. I also go on /o/ so the job is not too shabby. Only thing stopping me is that I might get corona, but I'm no doctor or nurse.

I'm going to milk the UE until September then deliver the rest of the year. I will then buy a house cash with my crypto and flip it. I will miss the WFH train, but I will be richer at the end of this year if I deliver chinese food.

Why would they? The kitchen cooks fast and I drive fast. They also know I'm doing 2-3 deliveries at a time. Anyways, $1,700 extra a month is a good chunk of change this early in the year. I can also start work Feb 1st, but I may have to wait til March for the IT job.

Food delivery is extremely competitive right now. So many people lost jobs and food delivery is the easiest thing to get into. So all the worthless servers and HR workers with a car are jumping on the delivery bandwagon. My brother bragged about how he was going to make $20-30/hr working grubhub...but recently told me the waiting list for workers is long as fuck.

Any job that's easy to get and requires little to no capital investment is no longer easy to get. The increase in worker supply will also keep wages suppressed.

Everything is playing out just as planned...
