That happens eventually pretty much anywhere you work. Just do a decent job, keep learning useful skills, and if you get laid off then enjoy your free unemployment money and go apply to 50 job ads your qualified for because the longer you wait the more likely you'll be perma-NEETed and homeless.
More often than not they won't lay off everyone on their payroll so the odds are ways in your favor as long as you don't blatantly fuck up and stop producing / fail to meet project deadlines repeatedly.
If you can hang in there and get 10 or 20 years of experience at the same company doing something others will hire for too then you'll have enough positive momentum going to salary-slave past the finish line and retire at 60. Just grind at a healthy and not too aggressive pace and stop worrying about office politics or periodic budget freakouts.
