Pigs are smart as hell and can develop loyalties like dogs.
It's actually fucked up how many we slaughter moreso how we treat them beforehand.
If only bacon wasn't so god damned delicious.

I bought it around this price and sold and the Nov top, and I'm staying as far away from it as possible. I bought back in at .60 at $4k and lost $900 on the SEC announcement, even though I sold as fast as I could.

I wonder what it's like to kill your food. Our ancestors had to slaughter all the time to survive. So many people nowadays are avoidant of any situation involving death, yet we eat meat all the time. No, I'm not a vegan faggot saying meat is bad, I just think we should appreciate the lives taken to sustain our own a little bit more.

I wonder the same thing. I would imagine that my diet would be different if I were forced to kill something in order to eat meat. My great grandparents used to do it. Maybe I'm too modern but I'd find it really difficult to raise an animal and then turn around and do that to it.

You missed the Spark airdrop
Regardless if XRP goes to near zero I will always win. If you buyed most likely ripple will settle with the SEC and see the shitcoin skyrocket, the only reason I still keep it.

It’s not too late to buy Litecoin for spark airdrop.

If you did it every day you'd get used to it, its like with any task you find off putting at first. I think it does increase your appreciation of where food comes from when you see it growing and being harvested or slaughtered.

Our ancestors (no idea who youre talking about) throughout most of human history did not kill a lot of animals. They hunted in groups and it took a long time, most of, or at least 50% of sustencane was gathered.

You gain an appreciation. I've hunted for years, started with dad. The animals I've taken had a far better life with a more merciful death than anything I've bought in a store. Licenses are distributed based upon sustainable population numbers to avoid famine and disease. The money paid for the yearly license goes into funds for wilderness and wildlife programs along with hunters safety programs for the youth.

And I'll tell you one thing - you don't appreciate the full extent of the cycle until you've made a bad shot and had to track the wounded animal until it collapsed from injuries or exhaustion, and see the terror up front as you put it down. When we caught up to it I was cheering. Dad was somber. Made me use a knife and I had to hear it choke on it's own blood. I was 15 and cried like a little bitch. The meat also gains a tainted flavor from them running themselves to death. Dad called it meat karma. Never again. Waiting until you have a good, clean shot is about respect for the life you're about to take, and weighing the full action and consequence cycle with a clear eye. Not picking up a package of meat at the grocery then bitching about the price. I can take a life to feed my family while still having a sense of value and loss about the animal. You also learn some things. One, you're a little bitch. Two, animals never seem to feel sorry for themselves. Survival is all they know. They don't complain, they don't whine unless it's out of pain, and they'll literally run themselves to death trying to get away from you. On broken legs, punctured lungs, you name it. Makes you realize how soft you really are.

Yes it's normally not this brutal
t. grew up on a farm

>> No.25988901

>>25988545
yep that's a standard farming technique here in the USA. Basically you slit the sac then tug the nuts out until the cords break, they have really thick blood vessels so the stretching helps to significantly reduce bleeding as it makes the vessel both narrower and the trauma to the region promotes lots of clotting enzymes to be released. pigs are not given painkillers to keep cost down as much as possible, in fact it's extremely uncommon for a vet to castrate pigs as the farmers profit margins on pork are pretty tight.

But you wanted a 4 dollar pack of bacon instead of a 5 dollar pack of bacon.

>> No.25989019

>>25988799
Not really more brutal than anything else. The biggest thing here is that the pig is older than it would normally be. Looks to be probably 4 months old. Someone probably changed their mind on using this pig as a stud.

>> No.25989366

Ya, I wish there was a way that I could only eat pigs that lived good lives with lots of sex and relative freedom, and then are killed humanely. Like, you could do it literally just with vinegar and baking soda in a sealed container. They would feel no pain or notice nothing other than the smell of vinegar and bubbles, and then just slowly pass out and die from CO2 poisoning.
