Lets say you have 100k in crypto right now. This year you will likely x2 that, some coins will x10. You have the opportunity to make 100k-900k this year.

Who here will still be working 9-5 for less than 40k? Hardly seems worth it if you can support yourself for the year. What number is 'fuck it'? I'm not talking the glowniggers that say 5 mil and want you to lose it all, how much is 'okay, I'm happy to not work now'?

I'm just posting this right here so the eastern European API3 fags don't sling shit everywhere in the thread.

I'm making right around 40k and have around 650,000 in crypto right now
basically I am working from home 100% and just doing the bare minimum
better to get a paycheck and get fired if need be than just straight up quit

I'm in a similar position but only around 120k in. I don't really have the luxury of quitting with that much but I own my house and pay no mortgage so my outlays are low. I'd like to make it with 1 mil this year but my portfolio is moving slower than expected. The problem is even if one mil takes another 2 years I don't see the point in working that much for the return. I'm releasing a new product soon so if I get any more passive income I'm gone.

I hope you make it, bud
I still believe in link but I'm kicking myself for being in so deep lately

Got about $250k in Link, that's my entire portfolio. Given that salary expections for my field are likely not higher than £35k for the first few years at least, I'll probably drop it once I pass a million and can live off of passive income. Ideally would like to buy some land and start a homestead, or maybe a small farm.

I had to look what seigniorage was, never heard of it? Me too man, I stayed in after the $20 pump thinking staking was almost here but then the bleed and subsequent bulls of btc and ETH have been a pain to watch. I genuinely think we'll hit $100 at some point but now I just don't know when. Staking should help push us past $30 at least I think? I hope so anyway.

I work from home doing the bare minimum. only make $80k/year

I got wrecked in crypto so I don't see quitting anytime soon.

Realistically, 800k + a part time job should be enought to sustain yourself
You could literally work a shift at Mcdonalds to pay for your weekly expenses.

A third of the way to a million here. Which is like 11 years of my salary in crypto. When I try and look at my likely future net worth from crypto objectively and conservatively I start wondering am I crazy. I am going by market sentiment rather than setting price targets. I am definitely not selling any crypto to fiat in the next six months. Probably not for the next two years.

To me, if I can get around 4-5% in a more seccure than crypto APY 500k after fully paying off a house. Maybe around 20-30k in fiat "just in case". It doesnt have to be a lavish life, so long as I can pay off what I need even if it means having little left over with freedom to work or not as I please. To feel a lot more comfortable about this plan probably around 800k after paying off a house.

Ideally I would want a bit more, but I have lived the lower middle class lifestyle for a long time, and it was only lower middle class because my family typically always spent only what they could afford to spend. I have no problems driving my shitty 97 camry, its a reliable vehicle. I dont need to travel often, if such a thing isnt within my budget I can choose to work for a short time in order to afford to do so. I dont need to buy a ton of shit, maybe the occasional vidya every once in a while, but nothing stupid. There is nothing more valuable than the freedom to have such options, and I feel that amount of passive income, while not amazing, is that leaping off point

>> No.25924849

For me the market is about patience, every bad move I've made I've made under duress. When the fud is at it's hardest I buy up as much as I can. When we dropped back to $8 I had my gf buy a few hundred link as it was easy money in my mind. I accumulate almost constantly now trying to get a 10k stack back but I'll likely only reach around 8k.

Nah im 28, I have jumped from job to job and dropped out of college many years ago so im 60k in the hole technically, but I will never pay that 60k outside of the absolute bare minimum until there is absolute certainty that it wont just be "forgiven" or if I do have a lot of passive income. The "best" job ive had was working as a wagie at target for 15 an hour but I finally got fed up and quit in november. I feel kinda bad for being a jobless bum but at the same time it isnt like im not making money.

My make it number is $2.5 million. Right now I make $190k a year and have almost $400k in crypto. I probably won't ever quit my job. I have the option to work part time and still easily make almost $100k per year. I'll use my increased free time to pursue my hobbies and travel for longer.

29 year old anon here. 160k in crypto currently. I hope I ‘make it’ before I turn 30 this year. If I can hit 1 million I’ll feel probably cash out 50-100k then leave the rest in BTC/ETH earning interest. Maybe some in either stocks or real estate as well. Will also max my Roth IRA every year which I haven’t been doing the last couple years because all my spare fiat goes into crypto

I mainly stay in my job because mortgages are not based off savings you have in the bank but off a multiple of your income, if you quit you will not be able to get a mortgage.

> i don't want a mortgage will buy in cash

Might as well use leverage to buy and rent/ own multiple properties.

>> No.25925649

>>25923414
You can't do this during the bull run, but the long term solution is to get decent at trading the ups and downs when the market is at the calm part of the cycle. Then you can get some ballpark idea of your expected average returns and use that to derive how big your stack needs to be to live off of your trading gains. Then maybe double or triple that and also think about how much you'd need to set aside a big safety net with a few years' living expenses in it. That's the holy grail of making it because you're not dependent on hitting some jackpot from the bullrun and you're not stuck with trying to figure out what boomer investments to cash out into once the bull run is over.

This year has been in all or nothing bet, my initial investment was 18k (pretty much my life's savings) I rode pretty high on XRP after the flare airdrop was announced up to around 27k, bought 6k worth of GRT at 17 cents, though I didnt sell when I should have but I did take profits in terms of trading some for other alts such as PRQ. Currently my worth is around 56k, but how I do this year depends pretty heavily on stuff like GRT PRQ and DEXG. If DEXG explodes I will definitely make it, but if it doesnt I do think I will be ahead this year, but probably not make it.

Anon, I've been 90% LINK for around 2 years, it really isn't a meme no matter what people want you to believe. GRT I think is a good bet, PRQ maybe, I sold very early as I bought before it was shilled and missed most of the gains so I can't comment on how I feel about it. Grab a 1k stack, I'm biased as fuck but this thread is pretty based to I'm not going to hide how I feel as I do normally now with most nufags.

>> No.25927157

>>25926469
I hate a 29k stack or so of GRT still. PRQ I have around 10k as well. I am due to get the XRP flare airdrop in march, with around 25k tokens too which will be kind of nice if it starts to pay off
