DOT for staking reasons like I mentioned and it has more hype around it currently with parachain auctions coming up. LINK is just an oracle which are admittedly important but I don’t really see a significant first mover advantage when it comes to oracles as others can come along and be easily integrated. AAVE for example is an extremely successful defi bluechip that doesn’t even use Chainlink

It is a price feeder that links off chain data to on chain data. Very important for all of crypto and LINK is the forerunner in this category currently, but there seems to be some hot new oracle plays that could outperform it this year.
