I used to have Aurcana as one of my larger silver miner plays. However after the recent dilution I sold everything and don't think I am coming back. The dilution was unforgivable, it was never justified, the ceo straight up lied that they had finances in order until startup and then they diluted anyway with 0 justification. I don't really have any anecdotes to speak of to be honest. I can only speak intuitively about what I feel might be the case. Young people tend to be more inclined to look at old things as outdated and are willing to take more risks and try out the next big things. Those two fit the bill when it comes to crypto, and pm's fit the bill for something that somebody might view as old and outdated. I did the math and there's enough gold (above and below ground) for about 1oz per person. Kind of a weird coincidence, but it basically means when fiat fails to make it you need 100 oz, which was also a weird coincidence. I did the math and the estimation is based off of the increase in buying power gold will have when T3 dissappears.

I am working on the Barkerville Gold Project right now, currently there is a massive shortage of underground trained miners in the western half of Canada, even retired guys are being called back at insane pay rates. You need to talk to the state BLM office in whichever state you’re looking to purchase a claim at. I was referred to a website called mylandmatters.org . I also use mindat.org to get a good mineralogy outline of the mine I’m looking at. I haven’t actually purchased or laid claim to anything yet, but I will before the inevitable rise in PM valuation. From what I’ve gathered it costs about $200+ to start a new claim and $165 to maintain the claim every year. With that claim you get up to 20 surface acres and you can tunnel or put adits in to a depth of 3000 feet. There are certain directional limitations, but that’s the gist of it. This applies to all national forest land nationwide. What I’m going to do is find old, expired claims and simply buy the rights to old mines that have adits and sit on them until a mining company comes along to buy me out. In the meantime I’ll probably go and visit the mine and do a little spelunking and rockhounding, maybe put up some markers, though I don’t really mind if other rock hounds come along to pick up the odd end.

I'm afraid that once one country starts nationalizing, the rest might follow suit. Unless the country has some principled leaders (or if they have positions on the mines), the risk isn't miniscule.
