The info actually used to be easily visible at the Canadian Mint website but was taken down a few years ago, i am sure if dug around you can find the info. The deal was struck with a Swiss company I believe, with a fixed gold price from either 2014 or 2015. All gold that comes into the mint from mines and recycling is sold off this way. I would not be at all surprised if we were selling our gold off too the chinese though, however we just stopped them taking ownership of a gold mine in our arctic so who knows.

Real yields are basically the divining rod for gold price, they tend to be very sensitive to any motion that looks to be changing the yield trend and spike gold down hard at the first whiff of it to pre-empt it. I'm pretty sure real yields are bullshit due to CPI fuckery, but enough wall street boomers still trust the govt numbers so what can ya do.

This is something everybody should keep an eye on IMO. We might get another big bust this year as some have suggested (which could smack yields and gold again) but honestly I think the Fed's thinking the same, and they're gonna go more ham with the printer than the market expects. based on what I've read about Tether, a total collapse of bitcoin is entirely possible. I'm sure this has been discussed here and elsewhere but it's worth noting. Not until Bitfinex is dead and gone, can you be even somewhat confident in the price of BTC.

Seems like there's a chance for widespread snow around January 25th in the US. Before that, starting around 19th, it will start getting colder in specific areas of west and east US, but not midwest/central.
Europe will have "beast from the east" phenomenon begin sometime soon and will last a week or two total centered around the January 19th date.

The last two times the polar vortex collapsed and caused a extreme cold were 2004 and 2013. The article indicates that this happened other times but didn't cause extreme cold/snowfall, so who knows what will happen but it appears that the forecast indicates a Dark Winter for US and Europe in accordance with elite plans

If I'm not mistaken a Quarter in 1960 would be worth $2.50 in today's money adjusted for inflation, which means today's half dollar is the equivalent of a 1960 Nickel.

You know the spot price which you see on websites like Goldprice or Kitco? That's actually taken from a place called the COMEX, a futures exchange which trades in derivatives. In that market, hundreds of fake, "digital" silver ounces are passed to and fro for every real ounce which truly exists in the vaults. This means that you can dump billions of paper ounces on the market, and crash the price, at any time. The system, however, is like fractional-reserve banking. If enough people took delivery there, the system would immediately collapse.
